Sometimes I think this planet would be a lot nicer if the robots took over--

Robots certainly wake us up to the possibilities which lie ahead of us through the new technology. And this little cutie has some humor and rational responses programmed into it's dome. However, it is not a human, and, as some indicate, perhaps this technology actually could model better behavior than many humans with a heart-beats, sorry to say,... [ role modelling is a great tool for teaching - but if destructive behavior is seen, then usually, destructive behavior is adapted ]
We're flawed people. Yet, if I were stranded on an island and HAD to choose who'd be my "companion,"
- I'd choose the flawed human - faults and all. If we could get a robot to use sophisticated technology to restore our lives on the mainland, then let's go for a cute robot with oodles of noodles programmed for accomplishing such.

Perhaps Pepper needs a robotic friend to crack jokes with, some'one' named Salt.
