Unfortunately, an Obama win will enable him to change the make-up of the Supreme Court. An Obama Supreme Court can and will likely agree to make this UN Resolution 1618 binding upon all Americans, which will criminalize any U.S. citizen for criticizing Islam -- for which there is more than ample amount to criticize.

Our own president -- a one man 5th column -- will enable us to overturn our own First Amendment.

Maybe this is why he received the Nobel Peace Prize.

"History is replete with examples of strategic miscalculations in which an over-reach – usually born of contemptuous disdain for a foe – led to disaster for the aggressor. Think Napoleon’s invasion of Russia in 1812. Or Hitler’s of the Soviet Union 131 years later. We may look back at September 11, 2012 as the kick-off date for such a tipping point in our time.

To be sure, the Muslim Brotherhood and its fellow Islamists – notably, al Qaeda franchises throughout the Middle East and beyond, other so-called “Salafists,” Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia and the mullahs of Iran – were becoming increasingly aggressive towards us even before last week’s mayhem in Libya, Egypt, Yemen, etc. Team Obama (notably in the person of its hapless and overexposed UN Ambassador, Susan Rice) and its running dogs in the elite media would nonetheless have us believe that the upset is the by-product of an amateurish short video that disparages Mohamed.

In fact, as most sentient beings have realized by now, that film is but the latest pretext for Islamists to demand our adherence to what they call shariah blasphemy laws. [Such laws are but a part of the larger, brutally repressive Islamic political, military and legal doctrine that prohibits any expression that offends, or otherwise is unhelpful to, their faith.]

Unfortunately, the Obama administration has repeatedly conveyed a willingness to accommodate – or at least tolerate – this threat to one of our most fundamental constitutional liberties: freedom of speech. That willingness is part of a pattern of submissive behavior that has encouraged the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies to believe that America is in retreat and that shariah’s inevitable, divinely-directed and global triumph is at hand. Their response, predictably, is to redouble efforts to make us, in the Quran’s words, “feel subdued.”

Examples of such behavior abound. Consider just a few of the more telling cases-in-point (for more, visit

In May 2009, President Obama insisted that Muslim Brotherhood representatives be in the audience for his first speech directed at the Islamic world. It was delivered at Cairo University and freighted with apologies for past U.S. policies and efforts to associate himself with the beliefs and priorities of his audience.
Interestingly, Mr. Obama had already operationalized that policy approach two months before, by having the U.S. delegation to the UN Human Rights Council co-sponsor with Egypt a resolution drafted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The object of the exercise was to further the OIC’s longstanding objective of forcing UN member nations to prohibit and criminalize expression that offends Islam.
In July 2010, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched a formal effort with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation dubbed the “Istanbul Process” to explore ways in which our First Amendment rights could accommodate shariah blasphemy laws. (Some of those playing an influential role in this exercise are discussed in a booklet about “The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration” I just published with the David Horowitz Freedom Center:
In December 2011, the Istanbul Process achieved an ominous milestone: The odious UN Human Rights Council adopted, with strong U.S. support, Resolution 16/18 committing member nations to adopt “measures to criminalize incitement to imminent violence based on religion or belief.“ Lest anyone think this a clever finesse, more or less in alignment with current U.S. law, the OIC’s secretary general made clear that his organization did not view it as “the end of the road.” And, indeed, developments of the past week – both here and abroad, official and non-governmental – suggest that Team Obama is prepared to go farther, too.

Given such encouragement, it is not surprising that the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies would respond by demanding further accommodations to them and their shariah agenda. What is a surprise, though, is that they are acting out their ambitions at this juncture – not after November 6th, when President Obama will, in his words, “have more flexibility.” It suggests that the Islamists have reached their tipping point, propelled to seek decisive domination by President Obama’s perceived weakness, irresolution and submissiveness.

In the face of our enemies’ overreaching aggressiveness, however, the American people now face a tipping point of their own. If they arrive at the only sensible conclusion – namely, that four more years of the Obama administration’s malfeasance with respect to jihadism of both the violent and the stealthy, pre-violent kind – they may just respond by refusing to re-up a presidency that enables and emboldens our foes and undermines our liberties and friends. And should such a tipping point be realized, it will be one of truly epic historic proportions and prized by freedom-loving peoples forever."

I'm sure that Maggie is happy to walk around scared in case she is arrested for saying something inappropriate (no-one else may think so) to a friend in a cafe. The rest of us prefer to remember why WWII was fought and why members of our families and friends died or suffered. This was for democracy and the right to free speech and they died so that a big mouth could write such stupid comments. Obama has already signed away your right to protest where your government representative is so that you can tell him/her how you feel. If don't care, fine, but do not tell the rest of us that we should too. Freedom is precious and cost more than you would ever give, your life and the lives of your family. The rest of us have already given.

Well said, Gillian. She doesn't realize that her personality will lend itself to jail just as much as ours will. At least she'll deserve to be there for helping enable our country's criminal leaders to take our rights.

Maggie S. is clearly one of those living in a bubble supporting a Marxist President set out to destroy our country. Why is this man willing to do so, because it is not his country or his people. He wasn't born here and is following his Muslim roots, intent on spreading Islam and enslavement by destroying the foundations this country was built on. We should all pray for the misguided such as Maggie S., she will need all the prayers we can give once she realizes her Czar has lost, right before she spirals into a liberal hate-filled rage. God Bless!

PS, Maggie S., I grew up attending saturday Polish school classes and was shown Holocaust videos of people being shot. We also had a Holocaust survivor come to our school. People like you who support a man who is willing to do the same thing to Christians, Jews, and anyone not like him make me sick to my stomach. You should be ashamed for supporting a monster. I wonder how you would speak if Shari'ah Law was placed in effect in the US? Women are treated as property and have no say. You would be stoned to death for speaking on these forums!

One could also see the “measures to criminalize incitement to imminent violence based on religion or belief.“ as a way to criminalize all jihad and fatwa talks on the muslim side. And since in the quoran it plainly says that infidels (all non-muslims) should be killed unless they convert to islam any recitation of this infamous book could be seen as “measures to criminalize incitement to imminent violence based on religion or belief.“ which would tgherefore become illegal. Yes even printing and selling it should be thus crminalized.YEAH YEAH YEAH

We, as a nation, pride ourselves on religious tolerance. This Resolution only makes the world responsible for the same treatment we already extend to those in our own land, be they Methodist, Baptist, Catholic or Jew.
How is this bad?
The treaty Guarantees the Rights to Free Speech, not diminish them.
This is a FOX slant on a real story, i.e. GARBAGE!

In islam tolerance is a one way street
Obama-- Stranger to truth
2007-- “My mother was a Christian from Kansas. I was raised by my mother. So, I’ve always been a Christian.”
2009-- I didn’t become a Christian until I moved to the South Side of Chicago after college.”

it was he who who bowed in submission before the Saudi king;
it was he who exempted Muslims from penalties under Obamacare
it was he who mocked the Bible and Jesus Christ's Sermon On The Mount while repeatedly referring to the HOLY Quran
it was he who purposefully omitted - "endowed by our Creator" - from his recitation of The Declaration Of Independence;

Counter jihad report is condemning specific religion using as "free speech". No all religious is perfect. Jew, Chrisitan were not perfect. Read Jew, Islam and Christian history, mascara and war between two prior BC for lands and resources, Not just about religions. Wealth of Nation is trying to suppress another country. Why bombing in West? People born in wealth of Nation greed by resources, lands, etc.

Look at Spain, England (UK), German, those european countries use wealth of nation power by changing poor country under European purpose of values and religions. Now US is following foot print.

Kenneth L (314)

Here is a more balanced debate about this resolution.

Personally speaking, there should be no inhibition of free thought. Free speech however is a bit more complicated. Some use it to protect themselves from abuse. Some use it to abuse others. Therein lies the rub. It can be used to help, and it can be used to harm. How do you formulate a 'one size fits all?'. Very hard.
IMO you can't make it a LAW that inhibits free speech against any religious or spiritual beliefs of any orgainized (or not) religion. This includes Islam, Judaism, The Pink Elephant Religious Society, etc.
If free speech causes violent acts then the violent acts are culpable, not the free speech. For how can you control how another acts by words they hear?
An extremely important point is that personal ethics of being responsible for what one says and how it MAY offend someone else is the bottom line. If someone is personally ethical and takes responsibility for what they say, then it removes much of any 'policing' or laws needed that drag others into 'enforcing' personal ethics and responsibility.
Again my own opinion is that if one's spiritual beliefs are so great then you certainly can tolerate anything in the way of speech or communication whatsoever about them.

If someone wants this resolution to mean no one can say anything against anything or anyone in some religion or violence will be done, that's particularly heinous. You cannot control what others think or say about any religion. This should be obvious to a reasoned person. There can be no supreme being or religious personage that cannot be communicated about freely by anyone, period. .

Gillian M (218)
Friday September 21, 2012, 10:39 am
Kenneth, what are you whittering about? This removal of the right to free speech means that no-one can demonstrate, peacefully, to show their elected representative what they think because the secret service is present. In fact, they may just be present, you can say something they don't like, and you end up in jail.

This is the start of Orwell's fear of the future where the government controls what you are allowed to think or say.

I noted just because it is true, he is trying to take away freedoms and a lot of things he's doing are wrong but yet people support him, I am Liberal mostly, so I do not believe any right wing president would do anything different then Obama except maybe do worse than him and give even more money to rich

Like you Vicky I hold a lot of liberal views as well but this current administration is spending you folks into destruction! The credit card has to be taken away and removing Obama from office via the election is the first step.

I gotta add that the big production of marching the maker of the stoopid movie out in front of the press in America was just another way to apologize to terrorists who killed your American Amabassador. Either you support free speech or you do not. It is evident this administration does not.

Kenneth L (314)

Gillian, you need to be able to duplicate (make an exact copy of) what someone says before your big mouth starts moving.
I clearly said "you can't make a law against free speech" it?...including about anything religious. Which obviously would include any gov't.doing so to it's people. You just read your preconceptions into something.

Friday September 21, 2012, 6:49 pm the risk of repeating myself - same Nightmare - just a different day. Freedom of speech is sacrosanct - but we take a big risk when we take a poke at Islam. So either stand up and be counted - or not. Islam has no humour or compassion - it is playing for deadly stakes.....enslavement of western democracy!

Kenneth, it is your big mouth working before engaging your brain. I do my research, you just sound off.

Obama has made an adjustement to the right to free speech and has made it a federal offence to use free speech in public where there is a secret service agent. Do you know where or who they are? If you say that you don't like the Red Sox then you could be arrested. If you want to speak to one of your government reps you could be arrested. That is the start of the start of passing the law aganist free speech. The next step would be like China where people reported fathers/brothers or sons for saying something not approved of. You think it won't happen? Who would have thought that the First Amendment could be changed. The American media no longer have free speech, I hear all the time from US epals that the news I receive is not available in the US.

Kenneth L (314)

I agree with you that having a law that prohibits free speech is not acceptable.

Your ideas about self-censorship are interesting. If we are "shamed" or threatened with violence and then are afraid to think or say certain things, would you agree that external forces have removed some of our freedom of speech? What do you think about that? I 100% agree that every religion (and I would add, political system) should NOT be immune to criticism. Given abuses within various faiths, I wonder how that could be stopped or investigated with this law in place.

I think they get into hot water by blaming behavior halfway around the world on someone who said something, and putting responsibility on the one exercising free speech. As you say, there's no way to control what people think or say about a religion, but how can we control behavior, either? We can't even guarantee everyone right here will behave ethically, never mind on the other side of the globe. In the case of the recent blaming of a movie for murders and violence, it makes no sense since the film was on youtube for months and nobody seemed upset. Maybe they were looking for something to use as an excuse to do violence. Evidently the ambassador had death threats against him, so was this really such a huge offense, or just a convenient excuse to do what they wanted to anyway?
