Growing persecution of Middle Eastern Christians and holy sites by radical Islamists in the Middle East and Africa in 2012 resulted in large numbers of murders, bombings, imprisonments, church closures and forced conversions to Islam. In addition, the r

It must have been like this when the world began to realize Hitler's agenda.

What happened then?

Nobody did ANYTHING for a long time.

Now....we have a United Nations organization which SUPPOSEDLY deals with these problems.

Where are they?

I think you are right, Pam. The U.N. is far worse than a farce. It is a toilet for Islamist racism into which untold billions of dollars are flushed. We need to get the Christians in the Middle East to a safe haven.

Noted, tweeted, read, tweeted, and shared. We need more publicity in this country about what is happening to Christians. I firmly believe in a free press, and if the press does its job, the world will generally become informed and do what is necessary to correct social evils. That is a method commonly used to stop corporations. They don't want bad publicity because it affects profits. We need to publicize what is happening to Christians and other religions in countries controlled by the Muslim Religion.

Certainly, awareness is ONE solution to the problem. BUT....once awareness is there, who is charged with stopping Muslim atrocities?

It's a big issue and, unless it's an effort involving many countries, it'll never be effective. Military force hasn't seemed to work....look at Afghanistan.

this is never reported on the main stream news media, and they should. When I turn to CNN ABC NBC CBS, they make it that every thing is OK, overseas..

Why is it okay to bomb churches and kill Christians? If we reacted the way these radicals do we would be in a constant state of war. This constant tribal war-like, antiquainted behaviour, will hopefully end in the implosion of the middle-east and the Islamic radical cult-like and warring tribal people. Enough with constantly bombing and killing people who are not Muslims. You are are full of hatred and God does not like this behaviour nor will he reward this imbacillic mentality.
Allah does not condone this ruthless behaviour and merciless people. Get a grip.

Nancy, we are already in a constant state of war with Islamic Jihadists. The war happens mostly overseas, but as Jihadists find holes in our defenses they bring the war hear. Blowing up railroad stations, shooting soldiers, exploding bombs... All these are acts of war.

Moreover, we have no chance to win this war because the war is disproportionate: Jihadists OK to aim at our civilains, yet this is unacceptable and illegal to do for us. Jihadists have to responsible authority to deal with, we do.

The civilized world has to re-enforce terms of military engagement: each militia should be offered military engagement act to sign, and those who refuse to do it will LOSE the protection offered by the world conventions on war.

Then we would be on the same page, either above, or below.

I honestly thought all the Christians had already fled Egypt. I was under the impression the Muslims have been extremely hostile to the Christians since last summer.
After several thousand years of some cultures trying to become more civilized, we have the people of Islam regressing and becoming a degenerative people!
It will not be long before they massacre the Christians in Egypt. The Christians need to get out of Egypt as soon as possible.
Actually, the Christians need to flee all the Arab Nations, because I fear Islamization will become a very overwhelming force for anyone who is non-Muslim.

Christians are leaving Israel at an alarming rate, and they all state the same thing - it is the Israelis that are forcing them into poverty, leaving them no choice but to immigrate. When asked about division with their Muslim brothers, they say, we've lived in peace together Muslim, Christian and Jew until the zionist project (I mean land grab).

These are the oldest Christian communities in the world and who benefits from their extinction? Not Muslims, they revere Jesus and His Mother Mary unlike the Jews who claim that Jesus is eternally boiling in human excretement and that His Mother Mary is a whore.
Only the Jews have this animosity and hatred towards Christians, commonly calling Gentiles, cattle.
