This is a mixed news story, that there are more eagles being released in the South of Scotland is great but the fact of persecution of raptors is a disgrace.
I think it's time that estate owners should be made personably responsible for the illegal acts of persecution of birds of prey by their employees. So if Lord XXX risked prison if his staff illegally persecute birds of prey you can bet it'd stop or at least be greatly reduced.
