The "right" thinks we need legislation on fetuses...but God help them if they're born, because these God-fearing Republicans don't give a fig for them once they've passed through the birth canal. Welcome to the planet, brat. You're on your own.

Thanks Robert...Dear ex fetus, now that you have been born, it might be wise to vote Democrat so you are not killed in yet another godless Republican inspired war.

Excellent article, Robert. One of my favorite sentences in the article is:

"America must declare war on America, against the fusillade of divisive nonsense that passes for political discourse these days, provided with full corporate sponsorship by a small cabal of rich people via the "mainstream" news media they own from top to bottom."

It is a very concise and efficient description of what has been and is happening in the U.S.A. today.

I mentioned this despicable move by Paul in a comment a few days ago..this rotten apple did not fall far from the tree to be sure...that tree is full and needs to be chopped down and pulled out by the roots so that something good may be planted in it's place.

And yes, i to have declared war on America.Better that we all do this now then wait for a true civil war to break out in this land once again, for all the motivators are there, and the class warfare of have and have not's has no where else to go but towards a physical confrontation where we TAKE BACK what is rightfully ours, which includes everything from freedom of speech to the right to own our own bodies w/o being told what we can or cannot do.

But America has to first wake up en mass, because even those of us that are trying our best to keep up (I find myself failing miserably on a daily basis) know the sneaky, insidious, back door crimes they are trying to perpetrate against us are having success to a degree because they figure if they have enough irons in the fire we are bound to miss a few...and they're right ~ literally.

So bring it on traitors..i personally have nothing left to lose other than my moral compass, and that you will have to pry out of my cold, dead hands.
Thanks Robert, an excellent post.

Florida, where they refused to let Michelle Obama speak at a school because she is not a republican. Maybe if they don't get the help they need they will get their heads of their butts and stop voting these scumbag republicans in office and stop screwing the whole country over for their bad choices!!! Sorry, Florida gets NO sympathy from me right now! IF they were voting in the scum that is ruining us all THEN I would feel for them!
I don't know about declaring war on ourselves, but we need to step up and start promoting companies that actually do good! I am all for boycotting, and I do it, but it is not working! How about we cheer, promote, and BUY from companies that do good???! As I boycott something I have to wonder if the alternative item is any better, both product wise and moral wise? Like I know Trader Joe's is far from perfect, but if you call them out they WILL make changes and I know when I buy their version of Oreos called Joe Joe's they are not ruining our rain forest by using the palm oil that many companies use!! We as Americans need to stop shopping at Wal-Mart and start shopping else where. I will do the local dollar store. I know they are no better, but at least I am not feeding an evil company! We need to step up and make a solid effort the buy American even if it is a bit more than we can afford because WE are the key to fixing American not our politicians that clearly don't really care!!!
Great comment Ellen!
Thanks Robert!!!

"Florida, where they refused to let Michelle Obama speak at a school because she is not a republican." - Is that the truth Sam? (Can you provide a link to the story?) If so, America is really stuffed - The land of the free is free no more!

Why war? That is what those you oppose so strongly do.

Why not war? - America has started wars all over our planet - Most people agree that diplomacy is the only way to solve a dispute but America is convinced that if we kill them all, there will be no dispute to solve. Not a problem. - It is a very good idea for Americans to declare war on its government. - No more war at all.

Not only there, Sam, but there are MANY links if you ask the question "Was Michelle Obama NOT allowed to speak at a school in Florida because she was not republican?"
This happened just a couple days ago.

Yup. It shows up in numerous news sources.

"Funny how this never seemed to be an issue before if then First Lady Laura Bush attended a rally for her husband. Or if then First Lady and now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fired up a crowd to re-elect her husband.

Dare we even ask why First Lady Michelle Obama is met with such disrespect when doing something other First Ladies and surrogates have done for campaigns for decades?

I want badly to play the race card here. But it’s almost too easy. And over done. At this point it’s so obvious it almost no longer needs to be brought up. What is equally as important, I’m afraid, is the total lack of respect shown to this Administration – be it East or West Wing – from the other side of the aisle on inauguration day and the meeting and handshakes held binding the GOP to make sure the black man does not get another term and leaves their White House."

The Crooksandliars publication was created out of desire to "out" the Crooks and liars. You need not worry about them posting phony stories. They exist for the sake of the truth, That is their only agenda. I am thankful for their work.

Michelle Obama Threat: D.C. Police Officer Allegedly Said He'd Shoot First Lady, Report Says

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/12/dc-police-officer-michelle-obama_n_1669513.html?utm_hp_ref=politics&ir=Politics

Truly disturbing.

Yes, Robert - it is "Truly disturbing" that a "police officer" would make such a comment/threat. Hasn't it almost always been that a 'threat' toward the POTUS has NOT been taken lightly? If this so called officer can not be trusted to protect the President of the U.S., he should not be on ANY Police Force....especially the DC force where he could have ample opportunity to actually do it.
