This is where the peace in Africa will come from. Another story discussed the 1st ladies of Africa and how they're uniting. Look for 1 of them to be the next President of Zambia. If the alphabets aren't careful peace might break out in spite of them.

Thnaks Mark, Noted! - when the mainstream media is reporting 'tribal" violence their lack of analysis on power, who has it, why they have it and who wants it goes lacking. In all of this as always it is women and children at the forefront and taking the brunt of the damage.

In stark contrast 20 years after similar violent conflicts - the prpetrotors and the victims are healing wounds in other African countries. if only the models for reconcilliation and moving forward could be instituted NOW rather than later. MADRE does great work.
