Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said the the US State Department had renewed the contract of private security company Blackwater USA without the approval of the Baghdad government.

Thats WHY Blackwater got their contract renewed!Killing 17 civilians for example while protecting a USA Diplomatis sure is proof of the safety,reliability and competence of these guys-the proof is in the eating of the pudding!.

...And why should the Iraqi´s have a say as after all they are still an occupied country!!.Going along with the word game-thats not private security thats Mercenaries.

Somehow I think the point was lost here ...the Baghdad government should have made the decision whether Blackwater were allowed another contract not the US State department..

Yeah, but the Baghdad gov't. is only a subsidiary of USA Inc. anyway.

If they exercise some independence we'll just have to install some new puppets.

Aren't we supposed to be letting the Iraqi government start making their own choices and stand on their own feet? These men have no rules to follow (not that our govenment plays by the rules), I would not want them in my country either.
