Are Ohio Voters Jus' a Buncha Dumb Hayseeds? Ohio Election Justice Campaign (OEJC) Declares Need for Voter Independence

US Politics & Gov't  (tags: rigged elections, corrupt courts, do-nothing officials, stupid voters )

- 100 days ago - prweb.com
A recent review of court records revealed that the over 800 pages documenting the destruction of the ballots in violation of federal court order were not in the possession of the court. Over 56 of Ohio's 88 counties destroyed election records

When I first heard that the electoral college of Ohio gave its votes to bush, I said, "What?... "What?... Now, I know what actually happened. This article is another glaring example to just how corrupt the voting system was in 2004, not only in Ohio but in other states as well.

TY, Mark.

I think it was more that they "trusted unwisely". There has been much documented evidence of voter fraud in the last two Presidential elections especially. I live in Ohio and I remember waiting for the Cuyahoga County results to come in (my county). They should have put Kerry over the top. When they were finally announced and Kerry had lost we were shocked. Thanks for the article, Mark.

And here we are, almost 4 years after the "elections," with the judicial system still dragging its feet.

Thanks, Mark.

Nina, apart from Ann Coulter registering under two different addresses, there has been almost no evidence whatsoever of voter fraud. But there are literally tons of documented evidence of election fraud, where elections have been rigged to discard, miscount, or add votes.

Carole, you've nailed the problem. Collecting evidence of another stolen election will only allow us to spend the next four years in court trying to get somebody to look at the evidence and enforce the laws, while the next administration continues the crimes against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan and continues to run up our national debt.

We need to PREVENT stolen elections, not allow them and collect evidence of them that always turns out to be totally useless. And the only way to prevent another stolen election is to NOT VOTE. They can still install the "president" the military-industrial complex finds most pliable, but he'll have no more legitimacy than Mugabe as it will be apparent that he did not have the consent of the people.

No in November

Prevent Unwanted Presidencies!

I am sorry, Mark meant to say "election fraud". ...not voter fraud. I know there has been tons of evidence of it.

And I apologize for nit-picking, Nina. It's just after so many years of trying to work towards election reform, I've gotten kinda touchy. ROFL

LOL. Thanks, Marcia. But while I hate to say it, these days I believe that voters ARE the problem.

People who vote in rigged elections, allow rigged elections to continue.

Think of it this way, can we demand honest elections by telling the government, "We demand honest elections and if we can't have honest elections we will continue to vote in rigged elections"?

Do you think they'd be likely to accede to that demand?

How about this one, "We demand honest elections and if we can't have honest elections we won't vote until we do"?

Sound like it might be a bit more effective?

Have you checked out or joined the No in November group, Nina? It is open to public view so you can read the shares without having to join. I posted the link in my comment above. Enjoy!

NO, Ohioans are NOT "hayseeds"! Stop & think of all the flight access, astronaughts, major celbrities, presidents, and, actual GOOD people who have come form Ohio, please. Next, please, understand, that yes we do appear to have a majority of Republicans (although I do not trust those counting)!! Also, note, that Diebold is from Ohio - where Bush spent MANY visits, before the '04 election!! We have NO choice in whether our votes correctly counted. I do not trust our Diebold machine, and, I'm not sure I can trust the folks who count our absentee ballots, either. Also, I am no longer apologizing for voting this November -- I REFUSE to take ANY risk of getting McBush in office, and, I am satisfied (so far) with Obama!!!
PEACE~

Kathleen, are you saying that you believe that entrusting your vote to a rigged election isn't a risk?

Sorry, Kathleen. People who KNOW that they can't trust their votes to be counted, no less counted accurately, and still think that voting isn't a risk, are only charitably decribed as "hayseeds." There are a lot more accurate, if less polite, words that could be used.

Did you read Consensual Political Intercourse ?

After two stolen presidential elections in a row, when you cannot possible pretend to believe that elections can't be stolen, if you're willing to risk casting your vote in another rigged election, don't come crying to me when that one is stolen also.

Maybe you aren't old enough to have been around in 2000 and 2004, but in 2000 the peope who voted for the Democrat, Gore, who WON his election, got the Republican, Bush, instead. In 2004 the people who voted for the Democrat, Kerry, who WON his election, got the Republican, Bush, instead. If you want a Republican in 2008, the best way to get one is to vote for a Democrat. It has been proven to work and there's no risk in it whatsoever.
