It would be incredibly arrogant to think humans are the only intelligent beings in the entire universe. I hope they're more wise and evolved than us.

- I do believe, there's other life on our Planet.

- Who do you think is pulling Elizabeth's string's.

- What did she say,.. there are Higher Powers involved?

Interesting fable-like story. However interesting the idea that we might actually meet I firmly believe that it would be absolutely disastrous for us. Just think that we cannot even get along with our neighbours and every time we found other peoples from our own planet we have almost decimated them. If "they" were here some nosy parker would have found them. There is no "perfect crime". Some material evidence would have been either mislaid or lost or they would have made some mistake that would have given them away, not mention appearence, as the chances of them looking just like us are slim. Even on earth we have so many physical differences between races. I do believe there is life elsewhere in the universe, but we do not know how big the universe is, so they could be so far away that we might never meet. Even the signals we get now come from places that may not even exist anymore. Unless... there were paralel worlds, or worm wholes could be used safely or... time migh really coexist and for some fluke past and present appeared to us in the same plane or just got mixed up... Whatever is happening on our beautiful blue planet is human doing for sure; but the ones with Real power always keep a low profile and the only ones we see are the politicians who do anything to appear in the news. "Higher Powers" sounds to me like (the usual) economical interests pulling strings.

I saw that one coming Claire:)
All in all, it is real accurate about our world:)
Now I do believe though, and I'm still waiting to see what this turns out to be.

Dozens Report UFO Over Texas Town
Many, Including Pilot, Constable Describe Similar Huge Craft Flying Low Over Stephenville
STEPHENVILLE, Texas, Jan. 15, 2008
AP) In this farming community where nightfall usually brings clear, starry skies, residents are abuzz over reported sightings of what many believe is a UFO.

Several dozen people - including a pilot, county constable and business owners - insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts."

While federal officials insist there's a logical explanation, locals swear that it was larger, quieter, faster and lower to the ground than an airplane. They also said the object's lights changed configuration, unlike those of a plane. People in several towns who reported seeing it over several weeks have offered similar descriptions of the object.

Machinist Ricky Sorrells said friends made fun of him when he told them he saw a flat, metallic object hovering about 300 feet over a pasture behind his Dublin home. But he decided to come forward after reading similar accounts in the Stephenville Empire-Tribune.

"You hear about big bass or big buck in the area, but this is a different deal," Sorrells said. "It feels good to hear that other people saw something, because that means I'm not crazy."

Sorrells said he's seen the object several times. He said he watched it through his rifle's telescopic lens and described it as very large and without seams, nuts or bolts.

Maj. Karl Lewis, a spokesman for the 301st Fighter Wing at the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth, said no F-16s or other aircraft from his base were in the area the night of Jan. 8, when many sightings were reported.

Lewis said the object may have been an illusion caused by two commercial airplanes. Lights from the aircraft would seem unusually bright and may appear orange due to the setting sun.

"I'm 90 percent sure this was an airliner," Lewis said. "With the sun's angle, it can play tricks on you."

I think it must be some kind of military craft at least I hope it was.

Lee Roy Gaitan,
Erath County Constable
Officials at the region's two Air Force bases - Dyess in Abilene and Sheppard in Wichita Falls - also said none of their aircraft were in the area last week. The Air Force no longer investigates UFOs.

About 200 UFO sightings are reported each month, mostly in California, Colorado and Texas, according to the Mutual UFO Network, which plans to go to the 17,000-resident town of Stephenville to investigate.

Fourteen percent of Americans polled last year by The Associated Press and Ipsos say they have seen a UFO.

UFO sightings have been reported all over the world for centuries, including the infamous 1897 crash of a cigar-shaped object near the tiny Texas town of Aurora. While some thought it was a hoax, decades later investigators from UFO groups said evidence suggests the disfigured pilot's body buried that day was an alien.

In Chicago in late 2006, some United Airlines pilots and other employees reported seeing a saucer-shaped craft hovering over O'Hare Airport before shooting up through the clouds. But federal officials said nothing showed up on the radar and explained it as some type of weather phenomenon.

In 1997, dozens of people saw lights in a V-formation over Phoenix, a mystery that was captured on videotape and spurred calls for a government investigation. A few months later people reported a similar sight over Las Vegas.

One of the most famous cases was the 1947 crash on a ranch near Roswell, N.M. Although the government said it was a top-secret weather balloon, an Army officer who helped recover the debris came forward 30 years later claiming a cover-up, asserting that an alien spacecraft had crashed. Reports later surfaced that a base nurse told someone that autopsies were performed on aliens from the wreckage.

A few months after the New Mexico incident the U.S. Air Force started Project Blue Book, which investigated more than 12,600 reported UFO sightings - including 700 that were never explained - before the program ended in 1969.

Erath County Constable Lee Roy Gaitan, who said he isn't sure about the existence of UFOs, said one night last week he first saw red glowing lights and then white flashing lights moving rapidly across the sky.

"I didn't see a flying saucer and I don't know what it was, but it wasn't an airplane and I've never seen anything like it," Gaitan said. "I think it must be some kind of military craft - at least I hope it was."

With a $22.000.000 grant, I can asure you there is life inside the Sun.
Why don't use alll that money to make sure we, the earthians, can have food and water enough, and leave the poor aliens alone...before we, the in-humans, clear them off as we have done with so many specimens?.

Very funny! Someone asked what I'd tell aliens if they were to come here. My reply, "they wouldn't. They'd be more intelligent."

Guys, but this is fiction, isn't it? The main attraction of that was a test "What your soul looks like?" It is fascinating. You are supposed to work with different shapes and colors, and identify your attitude to each. I went through all the steps, was looking forward to seeing what my soul looks like but in the end they asked not only for your e-mail address but also for your cell phone number which I am not interested to give around. I clicked cancel but even after that they didn't want to let me go and tried to offer questions. Errrr.....

In my opinion, after one researches or studies astronomy, one can't deny that there is other life in this vast space of our Universe. In addition, for me, there are too many "personal experiences" around the world that have been documented involving extraterrestrials, that include scientists, physicists, and other very intelligent and reputable human-beings, too not believe that there is other life in this Universe, Galaxy, or Star-system.
I also believe that they have been on our planet amongst us, for thousands of years. Some neutral, and some.., not-so-good, since a some "personal experiences" documented have included painful moments. Due to abductions being unbias to gender, race, intelligence, or other attributes, I believe there is much truth to the "other" documented information. Stuff you don't ever see in mainstream media. Some few cases report that extraterrestrials, are within the people, government, and space programs. Many scientists and other professionals are forming a separate quiet group, and providing information "where" and "when" ever they can, to try and inform mankind. Most of them report that our governments have been dealing with them, for at least 50 years, and have made sure it has been kept top secret. However, the neutral extraterrestrials are suppose to make themselves known to mankind, not too far in the near future, according to these reports. Great post claire, thank you.

Is there proof intelligent life has visited us from another planet? Yes, they have, twelve 'aliens'. One of them came through our building at work in Hill A.F.B. in Utah.

The name of the 'alien'? Neil Armstrong! That's right - the twelve lunar astronauts came here from 'another world' - in other words, they came here from the Moon.

SETI is an excellent research project.

Yes, I have listened to Art Bell ( before someone with a personal grudge accused him of child abuse, which CSI-COP failed to even check out when they wondered why we dropped off the air).

Here is the paradox: many people claim to see UFOs or abducted. At times these people gather together and meet. At said meetings, no UFOs or abductions never happen.

"At times these people gather together and meet. At said meetings, no UFOs or abductions never happen.", well to respond to this statement, I don't know about any "said" meetings, but any such thing has nothing to do with the multi-purpose reasons of the abductions being reported over the last few decades, which I didn't elaborate on, at all. I consider our civilization in this 3D Universe, "primitive" to many of the other galactical civilizations. My little ole opinions. ;)

Great goody mood when they come in front of me and I see them with my own eye's then I would believe it. Most of these people are doing some kind of good drugs lol!!! The only Sper natural Power here is The Holy Sprit and it is from God and there are angles each has one appointed to us. and deamons of saten to are all of these are true for I believe what I read and these are all in The Bible.I also do not believe they ever went to the moon think about it, there is no gravity there, how did the ship set there and the little thing roll across the moon without floating up? There is no air there think back did you see the flag wave? I did. They were never there they decived us they done all this out in the desert like they do movies, but they messed up because the flag waved. One small step for mankind my hind end. Thanks Claire noted

All the living beings in this Universe are children of the Divine Source...I AM, or the one you call God. Our celestial brothers and sisters are no better or worse than we are, in reference to the benevolent relationship to God/dess. It would be vain of one to think that in a Universe that is 78 billion light years across...., that we are the only children of God is this vast space of matter..., in my opinion.
