Noted. l am not in agreement with the word irreversible, l put it in the same category as incurable. l believe that under the right conditions the human body can cure it's self of anything. I think it would be more accurate to say that at present we don'f fully understand what the right environment is to reverse/heal Alzheimer's,

I thought cooking in aluminum pans and aluminum deposits in the brain over time was the culprit?
I read that a few years back and it is a disease that affects both sexes. It goes from mild to severe with the patient in the latest stage have violent behaviors towards its loved ones or care giver. Knew a friend once whose husband had the diseas. Sad how it destroys the person. It's like the are just a shell.
I had to admire the wife; she really hung in there with her husband. He was completely bedridden and incompacitated.
