We need to get back to nature and stop the pesticides. Greedy farmers use these things to make more money putting people and animals at risk. If pesticides have been used on food, it needs to be labeled and let the consumers decide if they want to poison themselves or not.

I am not being overly dramatic here when I say, so go the bees, so goes our planet and lives. I don't think folks stop to think of the complete devastation that would happen if we lose our bees and all pollinators, bats included. Without them we do not survive, it's just that simple and serious. It may not seem like it but protecting them is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we need to be concerned with. The fake debt ceiling debate, ignorant sequester and budget won't even be needed to be talked about if we lose the pollinators and ability to raise food.

A child could figure this one out.

"What pollinates the crops so we have food to eat, Johnny?"
"Bees."
"That's right. Also butterflies, other insects and animals too." And this stuff makes sick, or worse, kills them, en masse.

It's not healthy for us either, so those anti-animal, anti-environment, "pro-human" types who like to cry "it's them or us! Science! Progress! Jobs!" can't even go there.

ALL this is about is greed and convenience. You can't have science, progress OR jobs without a planet to do it on. Quick fixes suck, and this one sucks like a supermassive black hole. :P

We must stop with the subsidies on beef, milk, corn , soy, wheat, etc and let the market fluctuate. The bee situation is critical and should be not only included but made THE top priority in the farm bill. I've so written to my senators a long time ago.
