These governor-appointed people are making decisions that will impact us down the road when it is too late to recover what we have lost. Wisconsinites need to speak up, protect your natural resources and get involved with the DNR before it is too late

If you thought the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board met in Wausau recently to take public comment about the proposed wolf hunt and incorporate that into the decision-making process, you are wrong.

What occurred was the furthest thing from that. Never mind the fact that there has been no updated wolf management plan in place since 2006; hunters will kill about 355 wolves in two years, and then the DNR will come up with a plan. Never mind that 75-plus percent of recently surveyed Wisconsinites do not want a wolf hunt. Never mind that there is no scientific data to support indiscriminate killing of wolves.

Just Wisconsin's wild carnivores, not the one's holding public office.

Noted - what the hell is wrong with us humans - how difficult can it be to protect our precious animals. Some were just born heartless, callous, cruel and wicked and should not have been given the opportunity of growing up.

Need to get these elected (undoubtably paid off) officials out of office. Start a petition to get them recalled and they will get the message. Wolves play a very important part in the ecosystem. Humans don't. The psychological profile of serial killers is consistent with the characteristic traits of hunters . . . . why would they want to promote this type of behavior?

Why do people think that everything belongs to them, and that when something is in their way they need to kill it!?
