Such whale hunts do indeed occur in the Faroe Islands, usually during the summer months. The Faroe Islands are made up of a number of small inhabited islands. Every year, hundreds of long-finned pilot whales are killed in such slaughters.

Of course I signed! I saw a documentary about thi smatter a long time ago, it was horrible. And, what still remain a mistery to me is how a thing like this can survive in a contry I consider one of the most civilized and sensitive in the world. What makes it worse is the fact that the slaughter is completely useless, this are not poor, ignorant, starving people!
