Here are three ways to get a free tote bag. Not only are they stronger than flimsy plastic bags, but they are less wasteful and can be used for a very long time.

Jawesome. I hope these come through... one day, it'd be great to see everyone at the grocery store using reusable bags while the plastic bags sit unused, mouldering and ignored.

I love my bags and have finally gotten used to them, i used to forget them alot, etc. I think we should just ban them like in China, once you get used to it , there great. Thx Joe. I got alot of mine free at climate and energy events.

Not only are cloth tote bags good for the environment; you'll never have to worry about the bottoms falling out of them and smashing all your glass jars and bottles all over the sidewalk! Thanks to everyone who is willing to provide them, and for those who use them regularly.

Hello:)
More and more shops should provide these bags if not free at least cheap,i got used to them in saudi arabia or france, just imagine the quantity of plastic bags avoided if the whole town you live in would use these big tote bags!it's like leaving your tap open while brushing your teeth..or not!how many liters of water would be saved...and so many other things in our lives that seem so small but become mountains of waste because we are not acting enough together

True Value Hardware Stores are (were, at least) giving away free cloth bags last week, and even giving you 20% off whatever you could get into the bag while shopping there...quite an idea!

Huzzah, I'm glad so many people got a chance to try for these bags. Inshallah they'll actually send them. I agree, I'd be all for stores charging a dime apiece for plastic bags. You'd see some change then.
