Five years have gone by. The U.S. casualty toll is now 4000. It is estimated that some 80,000 plus Iraqi civilians have lost their lives in the war. There isn't a body count for wildlife, native plants or eco-systems that have been killed in the struggle.

If we do not get control over the lunatics running this world there will be no life left.

And just for the record, it's over 1,200,000 Iraqis dead, look up the Lancet study.

Ratty is correct. Over 1.2 million dead Iraqis, I wonder when the word genocide will make its way into the media. Considering that the population was estimated at 27.5 million before the war, the word genocide keeps creeping into my mind.
