Revenge Or Love Of Country

US Politics & Gov't  (tags: republicans, usa, u.s., government, elections, americans )

- 2058 days ago -
We each have our own reasons for voting. President Obama said voting is the best revenge. Mitt Romney asked supporters to vote for love of country. This Tuesday, what will be your reason for voting?

If love of Country is it, then we all need to vote for Obama for certain.

I am pretty sure that you are more interesting in posting anti-obama articles etc. and or reading other teabagger post if any I'll guide you to one not posted by a teabagger klan member that is about your guy Mitt. Then maybe you can have a better grip on which it is that would be the better to vote for if love of country is what a person has on their mind when voting....perhaps that along with know facts about each candidates policies/party agenda/religious agenda etc. You are aware that there are people which their religion comes before their country aren't you Cam ? If you aren't best catch up fast would be my suggestion. or just go directly to the video / articles link:

SOME KIND OF LEADER --- Romney directed Damon Clinical Laboratories during the time when it racked up $35,000,000 in CRIMINAL FINES for MEDICARE FRAUD, plus subsequently had to make $87,000,000 in restitution for fraudulent billing. Besides using the Death-Squad's Salvadorian $$$ to fund BAIN--he /is not a "venture capitalist"; rather, Romney was/is a "leveraged buyout specialist" ........... Mitt made his money by cannabilizing a weak corporation with a weak Board, and then walking away and leaving the bankruptcy costs to be born by our society, by leaving the busted pensions to be backed up by you and me ............ by leaving all those destroyed senior citizens lives to you and me to pick up the pieces.
Romney As Governor economic performance was “one of the worst in the country” on “all key labor market measures.”3 In his four years in the statehouse, Massachusetts
fell from 36th to 47th out of 50 states in job creation. While the rest of the nation saw more than five percent growth in job growth. A vote for Romney represents the biggest con-job done on this country ...maybe it's the biggest one ever and folks drank the koolaid poison.

Wow Cam. Desperate times…Desperate measures. Jump onto at statement but completely disregard all of the measures the teabagging GOP has participated in during this Election cycle.

The original interchange that Romney is now clutching onto like it was the rope saving him from a pit of quick sand went like this.

In Ohio, Obama responded to a crowd booing at the mention of Romney's name by saying "No, no, no, Don't boo. Vote. Voting is the best revenge."

Like a drowning man, Mitt on the eve of of the end of his political career, makes a final death decree, "Instead I ask the American people to vote for love of country".

Standing alone, this would be very effective, but when weighed against the actual actions of Mitt & Company, along with the GOP/T-bagging right it kind of loses it's punch.

How about what the Tea Party fueled GOP has actually been up to? They have

Voter Suppression - From attempts to purge the Voter Rolls in Florida to the Ohioan Secretary of State, John Husted's latest declaration, the GOP has attempted to subvert the most fundamental constitutional right of the American people they claim that they are trying to represent.

Since the election cycle of 2000, the State of Florida has tried and in some cases been successful in subverting the vote through a variety methods which are far from ethical, including hanging chads, labelling 12,000 eligible voters as felons and the 2004 and 2008 voter roll purging attempts.

It got even more outrageous when the GOP controlled State attempted to interfere with voter registration. The League of Women Voters, an organization which registered voters for 72 FREAKING YEARS, gave up its voter drive in fear of facing fines under the state’s controversial 2011 law aimed at voter-registration groups. The League, along with other civic groups took their battle to court asking the court to interfere.

This statement was made by GOP Senator Michael Bennett, “I want the people in the state of Florida to want to vote as badly as that person in Africa who is willing to walk 200 miles for that opportunity he’s never had before in his life. This should not be easy.” To which Judge Robert Hinkle responded that Florida “doesn’t have an interest in making it hard to vote. That’s not a permissible goal.”

More and more legislation has been passed furthering the agenda to make it harder for people to vote, rather than easier, laws which specifically targets groups that tend to vote democratically in droves.

To justify these tactics to prevent a non existent threat of voter fraud is ironic in the light of the RNC-funded GOP voter registration corporation, Strategic Allied Consulting which has been recently accused of submitting FRAUDULENT voter registration forms and has history of very bad behaviour in Florida and other states.

This Cam, is one single GOP controlled state, where manipulation and possible criminal behaviour has been used to control election outcomes. This is not the exception, it is the norm. If you want more examples, I certainly would be more than happy to provide them.

Corporate threats to employees on their vote

Recently Joe Walsh was filmed demanding corporate heads to threaten their employees with job loss or loss of health care unless they vote for the GOP machine. This was not a pep talk consisting of telling employers to explain to their employees why they should possibly consider voting for Mitt, it was a clear directive that they DEMAND employees to do so.

It has increasingly evident that this is becoming more and more prevalent that employers are actually making demands and threats that their employees vote for a party that solely serves the corporate agenda and acts against the interests of middle America.

A corporation or employer should have no influence on the electoral process whatsoever. What do you expect though from a candidate who claims "Corporations are people too, my friend".

Ethical Charges on non disclosure of Income derived from Auto bailout

The most recent charges laid against Mitt derived from burying profit made directly from the Auto bailout by Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. I noted your comment "Garbage In, Garbage Out" from an article that was posted on Care2 which referred to this latest development.

This, Cam, is much more than sour grapes. These accusations stem from deliberate action to hide anywhere from $15 million as much as $115 million in a BLIND TRUST to avoid detection of profits made directly from the auto bailout. These profits were made directly through Elliott & Singer's hedge fund which essentially held GM hostage.

I am not going to bother explaining the underlying nuts and bolts which led to these charges as frankly, there is no sense in trying to explain anything to you. I can post a picture of a red kite and if the purpose of the picture presents something negative to the GOP/Bagger/Tory extremism you seem to love to support, you will claim that that said kite, is Blue.

If you are truly interested in knowing, use google and look up Delphi, auto bailout, Elliott Management, Paul Singer and the Romneys. I would suggest though to avoid GOP/Bagger funded blogs, they tend to paint a very, very distorted picture. In addition, this little plan, not only added significantly to the Romney's financial picture, but led to the loss of 25,000 American, unionized jobs which of course the GOP/bagger Romneymobile tried to pin on Obama.

Manipulation, Distortion & Outright Lies

Claim that Obama attempting to end welfare's work requirement policies
The Benghzai spin
The famous GOP Spin on "You Didn't Build That" (Yes, outright distortion of the President's comment in a campaign ad. Doesn't that bother you?
The lie of Welfare and Dependency
The Claim that the Obama Administration would no longer welcome Hispanic Immigrants (from none other than Ted Cruz)
The Claims that the introduction of programs, such as Affordable Health Care and the Consumer Financial Protection Board equate to taking over the government
The Obama's administration has made it impossible for business to operate the government's tying of their collective hands with an unprecedented level of new regulation
The Debt
Health Care
Climate Science/The Environment
Support Our Troops Mantra
The Economic Recovery Plan
Ohio lawsuit allegedly a Dem plan to subvert the voting rights of members of the military

There certainly more where that came from, but it should give you the gist.

Why then would Mitt et al. resort to these kind of tactics if it is so transparent? It targets the percentage of the population, people like you Cam, your cheering squad, who are incapable of connecting the dots, the inability to see the forest for the trees, the general population and regular folks they use to promote their agenda which reeks of self interest, profit, class structure and Ayn Rand modelling of society.

This is what is so offensive, the use of people, either completely devoid of the ability to think beyond the next sound byte, or too busy/lazy to actually spend some time thinking this out, to change the whole fabric of what a nation is, to sate sheer, selfish greed. There is, of course, the percentage of the population whose support of this very un-American agenda is based on intolerance, bigotry and downright racism.

Rather than actually addressing anything contained within what I have posted, you will either claim that you are too busy to waste time with me, assault my character or make broad blanket statements which address nothing.

So you want to throw this out there, the implication that Obama is just not quite American which implies that Mitt's great declaration of voting "for the love of country" is why Mitt Romney should be the next President of the United States.

Cam, the big differences between what you advocate for and what I advocate for are that I base what I promote for is for "everyone", not just certain self interest groups, not for a demographic slice of the population, not on corporate profit. While the baggers scream about the Constitution (which is a document they fail to even begin to understand and yes, sadly confuse it with the Declaration of Independence) and freedoms, they support limited application of the Constitution, Human Rights, Legislation to only a percentage of the population and freedoms applied to people who support the same ideology promoted by the Teapublicans.

While viewing this little video, I was just perched on the edge of my seat waiting for a high school band to break into one of the John Sousa's patriotic marches, followed by the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, Emma Lazarus's Huddle Masses and coming to conclusion of Ted Cruz's "My Life" narration. Then we call all release red and white balloons from the ceiling and undergo a religious conversion.

What do you mean Jae?
"I am pretty sure that you are more interesting in posting anti-obama articles etc."

95 percent of posts I've seen so far on this site are from extreme liberals like yourself that have fallen for each and every story from mainstream media. Have you read this article, Jae,? What say you about this? Headline reads:

"CNN is paid by the US government for reporting on some events, and not reporting on others. The Obama Administration pays for CNN content."

And no surprise to see a logo above on this site: "C2NN" So gee, let me guess!?! CNN is paying the care2cards people money to further their liberal, biased pro-media agenda. Heck they're probably paying Care2cards with money from the Demoncratic party and our pitiful unGodly President Barrack Hussein Obama... an Arab.. NOT a Black as he pretends to me. No African-American heritage whatsoever in his secret past. And never before have we had a president with such a SECRET background. They wouldn't let that fly with a white Candidate, now would they. But Barrack HUSSEIN OBAMA.. well Arabs get to become Presidents of the U.S. with no background check and with no citizenship. Wonder why our county's in the gutter? Now you know.

The Republicans are turning against Governor Christie, like a pack of hyenas against a wounded hyena, for working with Obama after Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey. It makes me wonder, how does Romney expect us to believe he can "reach across the aisle" and work with Democrats, when the Republicans can't even get along amongst themselves? If they can't handle bi-partisanship after a disaster, what makes them think we'd believe they're capable of it on a day-to-day basis? Actions speak louder than words.

I must admit a new respect for Governor Christie - he has put his people ahead of his political leanings and for that, he gets kudos. Too bad there haven't been more Republicans willing to put country first. Nobody has to agree on every single thing but it's not the Flag of the Republicans, it's the Flag of the United States. The Republicans, for the most part, have dug their own grave....they deserve no trust and that is what they will get.

Hiya Margaret ..... we differ by a wide mile in our political views. No surprise but I hold out hope that America choses NOT to come down the road of socialized everything like we did here in Canada. The difference between you and I is that that I have actual memories of when we were free here. You on the other hand were brought up with the Governments hand close on your back. America has yet to feel that and I do know they will not like it should it happen.

We do a lot right here in Canada as a nation Margaret and I have always and will always be proud to be a Canadian. But I am not proud of myself and the fact I sat on my ass making my way in life - voting - but accepting that I was not the one to change things back here - when all along it was up to me (and others of course).

You are too set in your liberal thinking to look at this any other way but from within that kaleidoscope. I remember the difference and I am finally fighting back here. Maybe I will not move anything but I am standing up, speaking out and I will not be silent again against socialism.

Governor Christie did what he had to do in order to get help for his people. Obama took advantage of the photo op and then left Christie holding the bag for the mess NJ is in. Typical Obama.

Jacqueline C., those of us who live in Hawaii, where Obama was born, are well-versed in his history, because many of us shared it. It's no SECRET. Hawaii was a STATE when he was born here. He's not an Arab, and for you to state such unfounded rhetoric is just plain racist. I don't have to follow CNN (and I don't, by the way) to know that Romney flip-flops like a fish out of water. I've watched his record from when he became Governor of Massachusetts. Why isn't Massachusetts supporting Romney, by the way? They obviously know something the rest of the country doesn't.

Any of you at all concerned with how Barrack Hussein Obama conveniently made his typical photo op session after Hurricane Sandy, and then jetted off yet once again to his very favorite city in the U.S. LAS VEGAS! A real leader, a true president, and true American.. and man paid to oversee this country, would have done more. Fool missed out on an opportunity to demonstrate for ONCE that he could be a leader and oversee Hurricane Sandy. He failed our 4 Americans in Benghazi to a deplorable extent, and is not failing the people suffering from Hurricane Sandy. Some leader.

Jude, like all of us you have no proof of Osama Hussein Barrack's citizenship. There is much controversy surrounding his birth certificate and that is undeniable. There should not have been even an ounce of uncertainty. And where there's smoke, there's fire. You've been told he's from Hawaii. And racist? LOL It's not racist for me to consider if he was a truly born in the U.S. Heck you should be equally concerned. You dont' see anyone questioning Romney's citizenship. And also, why is it it Barrack Hussein Obama refuses to release his college transcripts? Poor grades. Or again, does he fear people find out he was a FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT.

There are many lies on this site that are very disturbing, if you do not have the facts, do not make them up against Romney, or get them from other unknown sources because you were too lazy to do some on-line investigating. Many great things about Romney never mentioned.
Obama has out spent Romney on ads, commercials and mail outs, lies…One of the biggest lies is on woman’s rights! Obama had his chance did not delivered. If your like most Americans surely you know times are hard, taxes are higher, food, gas, electric and a horrible health care plan “Obamacare” that will cost us more and hurt seniors, and if you take care of an elderly parent you should know it’s worst now than before thanks to Obama!
Reading these comments, I realize the hate most of you have for God and Country. Perhaps most of you are on welfare and do not work a real job for a living. I doubt if many of you own a Business like me, or you would be more informed on the issues of today that will get our country, back to working that is sorely needed for millions of people to prosper, we can’t buy new cars that on great on gas, if we don’t have jobs. I have met with other business owners that share my same opinions. We are struggling and Obama has done nothing for us, lets get that straight, even our chamber of commence is not backing Obama!
To top that off racism is real among blacks, another real issue deep concern, that needs to be addressed you will see more hate crimes in America. “With God All Things Are Possible”. Who in there right mind especially woman could vote to let a baby die in a utility room at a hospital in Chicago, because you agree with Obama on abortion. Do you know how Obama voted in congress on abortion? As a senator for the 147 days, he was a senator with no experience who became our president, coming from a racist church that hated whites and promoted a Down Low Club for gays. What kind of church does that! The facts are out their get off you lazy butts… look it up. The communistt party has been backing the Democrats since 1988 a fact, now what does that tell you. Think now Geezzzzzzzzzzzz. The democrat party is not your dad’s party anymore!
Mitt Romney is the best person that has come along in years…hopefully your not too brainwashed to realize it.

I'm glad you brought up abortion, Charlene. I think many people do not fully understand what happens during a "Partial Birth Abortion". I, myself, was unclear on the specific procedure and just recently chose to learn more about it. I've been sickened by it, and almost wish I didn't know how these doctors who are to "first do no harm", ruthlessly slaughter babies. The procedure is in this article in Paragraph 4. It saddens me greatly to think that Michelle Obama, a mother of two could support and push hard for partial birth legislation.

Jackie C (0)

The NUMBER ONE reason I vote Republican is because I want a candidate that will not support Full-Term/Partial Birth Abortions. I'm going to speak for every person on this site and say one thing we can all agree on is that aborting a baby at 8-9 months is simply, and undeniably Murder. No one can disagree or defend this point. And no one is this nation should be given a legal right to murder anyone, let alone a baby. Abortion used as birth control is deplorable. Trust me when I say, God is angered by abortion. For all we know, our nation is being punished for allowing a law to murder babies to be put on the books.

And think about this.. this is MY theory. But in the last few decades, 400 million babies have been slaughtered. Therefore, we have 400,000,000 missing citizens.. citizens that would grow up to be consumers and people that could potentially make a marvelous contribution to society. So is it no wonder that our economy is in the tank. Could this be tied to it? imagine 400,000,000 extra consumers buying homes, cars, furniture, clothes, food, etc etc etc. Perhaps our economy would be booming if those babies were given a chance to live.. a chance to be a consumer... Michelle and Barrack Hussein Obama are the leaders in getting legislation passed to allow babies/consumers to be slaughtered. Can you imagine standing before God on Judgement day with the blood of millions of babies on your hands. I would shaking in my boots if I were Michelle and Barrack Hussein Obama. Scary!

Charlene and gals ROCK!!!! They come on here and use their talking points they hear from huffcompost and pmsnbc and don't even do any research of the facts....they have no idea about Benghazi and the four Americans that were killed while they had a drone sending images to the WH showing them being slaughtered....and they sat. I think they were more in awe of watching the killing of bin laden then our own Americans....sad but so true.

Vote for revenge....that's how evil this empty chair is.......obama has divided our Country so far apart that it will take someone like Romney to get us united again. No president would ever say to vote for revenge.....not even stupid that only confirms us that obama is nothing but an evil child who should have never been elected to begin's been a sad four years and I pray to God we can stop him on Tuesday from destroying what is left of America!!!!!

Sunday November 4, 2012, 7:10 pm
Same to you Maui! Some people just aren't able to discern good from evil. They believe what they're told, don't fact check, and don't base their beliefs on biblical principles either.

The Benghazi deal will (or should) become the next Watergate. The facts have already been shown that Obama and crew had a first row seat as the Benghazi murders played out, knew that more help had been requested on several occasions, that there is an email trail a mile long, and that blaming the whole deal on some low-budge not even B-rated quality video had anything to do with it. And not only did he coldly and callously allow for 4 Americans to be murdered, he's also greatly damaged the reputation of the United States as being one of the greatest and strongest nations on earth. He has other countries laughing at us now.

It's going to be almost humorous watching them try to dig out of that grave. I only wish Obama would have to pay some price for his total failure to be a "Commander and Chief" (as he often desperately refers to himself).

What a total tragic presidency he has had. I've never been more fearful of the fate of this wonderful land. Never before have we had a President that so divided our country, put us in harms way with other countries, and teetered dangerously on turning this "Nation Under God" democracy into an atheist nation enveloped in socialism.

All I can figure is these people who stand behind Obama just won't vote anything but Democratic as their families have for generations, even at the cost of this once blessed nation turning to ashes.

God bless all the Republicans who have fought hard to keep this a democratic nation. Democrats may despise us, but they should thank us for holding onto this nation's constitution with all our might so that we all can continue to enjoy our beautiful liberties.

Considering the health care which you enjoyed IS NOT SOCIALIZED medicine as you claim, it doesn't surprise me that you would further the agenda of a party whose sole interest comes from self-interest, except for the fact that Sarah Palin is your cutie patootie. If only I could do that sailor's wink….

Cam, you are not a 100 years old. There is an age difference of 1 generation, not eons. While you claim the era which was the downfall of America, you were out working and doing well enough in the Canadian system to have six kids, provide for them and have a nice little lake house you can get away from the grind of being retired. Now the middle class has virtually disappeared and it a little more complicated than unions (which you will claim is the problem). It is NAFTA, the willingness to import because it is cheaper from countries where their populace is starving. Are you on board with let's get rid of the unionized labour force so we can all starve too. When people aren't paid decently, guess what Sherlock, they can't afford to buy anything. Considering education is the cornerstone of a successful nation, do you want to defund that too? I bet if you were still paying for the full amount of the cost of education of your six kids, you wouldn't be so readily willing to privatize that too.

I have asked you before and ask you again. Do you really think a private insurer would insure you? If you need significant care, how are you going to pay for it? I think that is a fair question. The system you so rail against is really all you have. I will say with complete confidence that one significant medical event will bankrupt you Cam. You will need a lot more money than you have to actually pay for it. You would have to be in Mitt's league.

You have a PM which you support with the same level of support you give to Sarah Palin which has been in power for six years. How is that working out for you Cam? Instead of continuing to fund education to the level we used to (which by the way put us consistently on the list of the top ten innovative countries), we are buying sixty-five F-35s which have only one purpose and it is not for getting things done up North. For what Cam? We used to be respected for our restraint, but now are jumping on the warmongering bandwagon. Guess what Cam? NEWSFLASH, we are not respected, nor are we peacekeepers any longer. We have pissed off enough people that Harper lost a routine bid for the UN Security seat (which was our turn to get in the first place).

You keep on saying what a fiscal hawk he is. Where is there any evidence of that? We have a huge deficit when he was given a surplus. He buried $50 million in Tony Clements constituency office (illegal) and willingly allowed our military to hand over people we caught in Afghanistan to known torturers. He then prorogued to avoid answering any questions.

What we have is a PM who wants to play foreign policy with the big boys and latching our collective little red wagon to a country that is believes that military aggression is a good thing, American Exceptionalism is a quaint little phrase that has nothing to do with a superiority complex and is hated by most of the world. Do you really think that is the way to govern? To actually piss off most of the world (where they actually have valid reasons to be pissed off at the US) is not a wise game plan.

I want to note though that again, you didn't address anything about the article, well video, you posted. Yet, here you are suggesting that I am too set in my mind in my liberal thinking to accept anything else. I post actual issues and positions Cam. I am the one busting my hump actually reading, understanding and researching topics that I post, not just something that catches your eye and you figure it will discredit the those of liberal leanings. They are usually deceptive, inflammatory in nature and have really nothing to do with anything. They are insignificant. This one, is a classic. Don't vote for Obama because he said don't boo Mitt, vote out of revenge while supporting a guy who wants to go in and start WWIII with Iran.

Do you know how many people have died to to the warmongering GOP lie to the American public war (Iraq) alone? These are people and newsflash, they are not all hatching some nefarious plot to overthrow the United States. They are no different from us, just trying to make their way through life and provide a better future for their kids. You seem to have no problem with killing hundreds of thousands of people because George W. Bush had Daddy issues and wanted to enter a pissing contest of oneupmanship.

No Cam, it would be more in line that the teabaggers would turn it into a photo-op. Paul Ryan is a pro at it. Has it occured to you that perhaps Christie was thanking Obama because it was the right thing to do. When the President does something good for the people of a State hit by a hurricane, it isn't about partisan politics or photo-ops, it is about showing you appreciated the action given.

Now I have heard it all. We have someone who is claiming that other people, not her, who throws the Bible in with the word facts and claims to conveniently forget about 9/11 which I would think makes Watergate (yes a Publican operation) pale in comparison. What a crock of crap.

Typical bagging, leaving out a lot in the statement that Obama supports partial birth abortion. There was a little more to it.

That bill, which Obama did vote against, would have required doctors to resuscitate an aborted fetus if legislators felt it had any chance of viability. But Obama’s reasoning for voting against the bill was nothing like how Gingrich and Huckabee represent it. In interviews with a range of media outlets, Obama expressed that he feared the bill would undermine Roe v Wade by defining any fetus as a human with human rights and claimed it could be used to take down any abortion rights legislation that anti-choice activists didn’t like.
Obama was, however, “fully in support” of a federal bill that provided the same protection viable fetuses while also including protections for Roe v Wade :
OBAMA: I have said repeatedly that I would have been completely in, fully in support of the federal bill that everybody supported – which was to say – that you should provide assistance to any infant that was born – even if it was as a consequence of an induced abortion. That was not the bill that was presented at the state level. What that bill also was doing was trying to undermine Roe vs. Wade.
Obama also felt that the legislation would have taken decision-making out of the hands of doctors, giving anti-abortion activists an opening to sue abortion providers by alleging that they chose to terminate the life of a viable fetus on purpose. He did not, however, express any support for “infanticide” or for ending the life of a viable fetus, as Huckabee and Gingrich claim.

I've heard that argument above. But let's back up. We wouldn't be having ANY conversation of this type if the disgusting practice of Partial Birth Abortion wasn't legalized. Both Michelle and Barack Hussein Obama played a huge role in advancing abortion from the allowed 20 week period all the way to a full 9 months. That is BARBARIC!! I'm ashamed that our great nation even allows the murdering of babies to full-term.

Have you seen footage of a Partial Birth Abortion ME? It's not some "fetus" or blob of mass that supporters like to imagine. The babies murdered during Partial Birth Abortions are fully formed babies. Babies that at any other time if prematurely delivered would be saved by a dedicated medical staff in a hospital. So ironic. But now all a mother legally has to do is say, I don't want the baby. It's inconvenient for me. And she is now granted legal permission by laws in our country that Barack Hussein Obama fully supports and embraces. So what happens. They essentially prepare a mother (YES "mother) for delivery by a quite painful procedure to widen her cervic. Then the evil doctor carefully positions the baby so that the darling, beautiful tiny feet come out first. The evil doctor can see the tiny feet wiggling and is well aware this is a living, fully formed baby, that used to be considered a U.S. citizen.. AND still is in the event of a homicide (LOL you can explain that one later ME. Second thought, don't waste my time. There is NO explanation for that as you and everyone knows). So back to the abortion. The evil doctor then carefully pulls the precious baby out of the mother's cervix being extremely caution to NOT let the head pop out. Can NOT have the head pop out. What if the baby then cried, and the mother heard it? oops Not to mention if the head pops out, while it's a live birth and a U.S. Citizen, right. Well not exactly according to Obama. You still have his permission to MURDER THE BABY. So now if a doctor sucessfully can keep the baby's head tucked into the cervix, he now must complete the abortion by MURDERING the baby. Hmmm, how to do that? Well these whack job doctors have developed an inhumane way. Brace yourself hun! He then takes scissors or a knife and JABS it into the base of the baby's skull aiming for the brain and hoping for an instant death. But uh oh... sometimes the evil doctor fails. So now what? Quick!!!!! The baby's still moving. Get a suction device and jam it in the same whole the knife was stuck in and suck out all the baby's brains. The poor mother on the table will hear a vile slurping sound that end up haunting many of them for the rest of their lives. Okay, done! Baby murdered. Now let the fetus, errrrr BABY drop into a bucket. Thunk! Another complaint from mothers. They are sickened hearing the sound of the baby they aborted dropping into a bucket. Many of these same women then endure years of therapy for making an unthinkable and horrendous "choice": as you all like to call it.

Can we all agree to drop the sugar-coated work "CHOICE"? And just substitute it with the correct word, "MURDER" . Abortion is NOT Pro-Choice. It is simply PRO-MURDER and that is a fact that will never change no matter how it's covered up.

So now we know Barack Hussein Obama has NO regard for human life. Good luck to Senior Citizens under his Obamacare plan. If he believes in Infanticide, don't believe for a minute he wouldn't be a supporter of Euthanism.

I am assuming you, ME, are not a mother. Or you would never, ever, ever, ever defend such a vile procedure as abortion and such a vile abortion support as Barack Hussein Obama. Disgusting. Two more days. Thank God Almighty.

I did actually beleive that Christie was sincere. It was Obama I thought was putting on the act Margaret and with three more bodies pulled out of a garbage pile today AND people crapping in the hallways they are so desperate for help I NOW KNOW all it was to Obama was a photo op and nothing else.

He is not a leader Margaret and needs to go. I sincerely hope America gives him a pink slip on Tuesday. As for my country I will take Harper over anyone else anytime anyplace. Best thing we ever did was give him a majority government and yes Margaret - CANADIAN HEALTH CARE IS SOCIALIZED MEDICINE AND IT IS FALLING APART.

Sorry Cam, thought you meant that you meant that Christie was insincere. Considering the reaction of the GOP, you can't blame me for misunderstanding. As for insincerity, the Tea-Baggers could win an award for it. Who goes to a soup kitchen, unannounced for specifically a photo-op Cam? Tell me who actually does this?

I am not a big fan of Obama, and certainly wouldn't have been my choice. As for Mitt, it isn't Mitt I worry about. What I worry about is the pandering Mitt does, his tendency to bend to any position as long as it suits him. It is the baggers that makes me lose sleep. Crazy extremism, application of the Constitution selectively and the force that drives them, is what I lose sleep over.

Cam, again. What would you do without your Canadian Health Care coverage Cam? I am certain, you wouldn't get coverage elsewhere. Your just going to hope that you don't get ill. In past, you have argued waiting times. First of all, this is a completely exaggerated statement and secondly, the uninsured's wait time is significantly longer, it is FOREVER. You argue its cost. That too pales in the cost America spends on health care, pre-Obama care. You argue quality. Well , considering we live an additional 3 years on average, I think that kind of flies in the face of logic. Instead, you want spending on F-35s, on the most expensive G8/G20 summit, on the fake lake right next to Lake Ontario or how about the $50 million that was parked in Tony Clements constituency? How about giving the contract for Passports to a company that outsources the work and leads to job loss? Are these all good ideas?

As for leadership, you have to actually have a leader that the people like. Mitt is not one of them. Not even his own party can stand him.

Diane - Why not provide something germane to the post. Pundit provided talking points, such as wild and thoroghly debunked conspiracy theories are not considered a result of "research" you claim you partake in. BTW, if you want to actually be taken seriously, maybe you should refute the long list provided above. Your inability to even attempt to defend you candidate, speaks volumes.

Methinks you just got stomped by Diane Margaret. Look, I am not a huge fan of Romney either but Obama's inexperience has really hurt America. I have watched him and as long as he had both houses he drove through the most ridiculous crap I have ever seen in my life when he should have been focused on PUTTING AMERICANS BACK TO WORK.

Since he lost congress he has been ruling America. By passing people's elected officials to do whatever the hell he wants and turning America into regulation nation. He is not a KING Margaret and even here in Canada I would hope we would be marching in the damn streets if that was tried by our government.

The corporate rate is the highest in the free world and companies have been running - not walking but running here to Canada to get out from under that. Good for us I suppose but it sure as hell is bad for America.

I am a simple man Margaret. I watch. I listen. I investigate and I base my judgement on a man's record. Obama's before he was even elected was ridiculous. He never should of won that nomination BASED ON EXPERIENCE alone - it should have been a slam dunk for Hilary. He won it because he was BLACK and for no other reason that I can figure. The man is incompetent and if the Republicans hold the congress but lose the White House or take the Senate and lose the WH NOTHING WILL CHANGE. He will continue to do whatever the hell he wants to because he has no ability to work with them. He is an ideolog. So stuck in his ways that he cannot work outside of that. He needs to go tomorrow for that reason alone.

I hope this is the last time we ever elect a president who was never vetted....who sealed all of his records...shame on the media for letting this empty suit slide.....I pray after tomorrow....we can hold the media responsible for their bias reporting.....they need to learn a big lesson here.

Cam - Where did this stomping take place?

The hot air pair are in rare form. Diane, I must ask you this one question. Have you actually ever defended your position something (anything) to support your blind support of Mitt in response to accusations levelled against him? I gave you plenty of examples above that you could actually address rather than make blanket statements without any source or citation to support them.

This is the list from above? Want to give it a whirl?

Can you argue even one of these without resorting to more lies holding up your little castle of disillusion?

Even though I am not a big Obama fan, I will certainly support him over indecisive, change my position every five minutes, outsourcing King, Mitt Romney. It is pathetic that I (who support Obama over Mitt) could make a better , as well as a more truthful argument against Obama than either of you. Making blanket statements with no foundation or support, does not make for a winning argument.

Material posted by hot air 1 and hot air 2 are "way out there conspiracy theories" which have been debunked thoroughly. Diane, while certain in her believe that Obama was born outside of the US, the reality is that the FBI performs a pretty stringent vetting process on the candidates. The FBI are not idiots and are quite capable of performing an extensive search. Are you telling me that if anything was found, the GOP wouldn't have jumped all over it?

Diane also claims that Obama is a narcissist. Is she now a psychiatrist? Did she base her diagnosis on clinical examination, along with her review of the DSM-I and the DSM-II? The word narcissist; another lovely buzzword, is often tossed around with no fundamental understanding or comprehension of what to be a narcissist actually is. To now suggest that we shouldn't vote for Obama because Diane believes him to be a narcissist is inane. Why not just spit it out Diane and say don't vote for Obama because he is black. Don't even start with this he is half-white Cam, I am really not in the mood to hear your nonsense. When you can't argue policy (which there is plenty to criticize) what is left? One glaring reason, racism. I could give you pages of valid argument, but instead you reach for the handiest, and the most inflammatory material.

What offends me the most is not which candidate you support, but how little effort either of you are willing to expend on his behalf. You both take the easiest route through blogosphere hell and pick the most slanderous, outrageous, and yes, racist material and post it as if it were an essential truth. Is it because you are incapable or are you too lazy to actually check the veracity of what you post?

Maui - what to show some proof for your ridiculousness? Like how you cribbed the empty suit label from the Progressives. I think that the media is being quite kind to the baggers, I certainly wouldn't be so controlled in my commentary. Pray away all you want Maui, it has nothing to do with the governance of the United States.

Don't think so Cam. I would find the support of a bagger offensive.

How do you like all that Bagcheatery going on? Pennsylvania demanding ID in spite of the court ruling against it, a bagger candidate putting her picture on a sample ballot with Obama to be delivered to constituents, GOP robocalls sending giving out wrong voting information in democratic strongholds, the maturity of John McCain sticking his tongue out and telling a heckler to "shut up", a bagger candidate claiming that his opponent is unfit to run because he has no children, Ohioan bagger John Husted, Secretary of State of Ohio, approving a software update on voting machines just prior to election in a State where Mitt has a fiduciary interest in "Ohio Voting Machines"? Is this any indication of what lengths the baggers will go in order to win? For some reason it doesn't surprise me at all that you support these kind of tactics.

If you think that she "stomped me good" (I am always so impressed with your command of the English language Cam), I gather that you also believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and Easter bunny. I must thank you though, I get so much enjoyment from reading the ridiculousness coming from you and Diane. Maybe I should write a book on it.

Here's more on what Barry does while on the clock.

Philly GOP: Poll inspectors being ousted for Dems

Court-appointed Republican poll inspectors are being forcibly removed from voting stations in some Philadelphia wards and replaced in some cases by Democratic inspectors and even members of the Black Panthers, according to GOP officials.

or this one:

PICKET: GOP - Poll watcher in Detroit threatened with gun, 911 call rejected

This morning, a legally credentialed poll watcher was threatened and intimidated while attempting to perform his legally allowed duties of observing the election process at precinct polling location 289 in Detroit. The poll watcher, a lawyer, was confronted by a voter in line, who demanded the poll watcher produce his credentials, which he did.

However, the voter said that wasn’t good enough and that he had “a badge and a gun” and told the poll watcher get out of the precinct. Rather than allow the situation to escalate, the poll watcher left before the voter produced a badge or brandished a gun. Fearing for his safety, the poll watcher exited and called 911, however the Detroit Police refused to respond to the call – neglecting the fact that a voter alleged to have a ‘badge’ and a ‘gun’ in a precinct, putting other voters at risk

It was one of several controversies surfacing in Pennsylvania's largest city on Election Day.

One polling site in Philadelphia apparently had a mural of President Obama emblazoned on the wall directly behind the voting machines. The mural, at a local school being used as a polling site, contained the words "change!" and "hope," along with a quote from the president.

Good call Maui. Excellent way to prove my point. You post from faux news and from the Washington Times. Again thank you. I actually thought today was going to be a bad day, but due to posts I have been on the floor lMAO all day long.

You want to equate this crap you posted to:

Voting machines that seem to only vote for Mitt.

How about this it is from the Detroit Free Press:

This is it. Election day. Early reports from the polls indicate it’s chaotic. There are numerous accounts of confusion and voter intimidation in states with newly enacted voter ID laws. Poll workers who haven’t been properly trained and don’t know the rules. Many reports of ID being requested only from voters of color. There’s at least one confirmed report of a voting machine flipping Obama votes to Romney in Pennsylvania.

In Florida, an election office sent out a robocall wrongly telling voters they had until tomorrow to file ballots. In some precincts people are waiting hours in line and then told they have to vote in a different place. In Ohio, there are reports of election clerks refusing to give ballots to voters, claiming they had already voted, when in fact they never requested absentee ballots.

Many reports of equipment breakdowns at polling stations are causing huge backups in the lines. People from affluent white neighborhoods are reporting no problems and short waits. In predominately black and other minority voter precincts, waits of as long as seven or eight hours are being reported.

Most disturbing are the reports of Republican poll watchers intimidating voters in line. They are targeting districts with large populations of people of color. They are wrongly asking to see IDs and in some places asking for names and telling people they won’t be allowed to vote. Gratefully there are a few precincts in Ohio where they’ve been foiled, because the conservative group True the Vote forged signatures to gain access and were barred by the court.

Then you must love your countrymen as well Angelica. A disagreement of political ideology should NEVER be enough to hate another citizen for. Then there is Jason who is full of nothing but hate ..... I know you Angelica. You are not a hater which is why I was so surprised you never followed up on that Lloyd Marcus story and called me a racist.

Patrice M (84)
Tuesday November 27, 2012, 1:27 pm
So.. does this mean I should have voted republican and that would be the only way not to show revenge?

I never came out and called you a racist. I said that the republican point of view that you were espousing was racist. I would never call you a racist. I have not met you personally. You seem like a good person to me on the internet - one I vehemently disagree with politically but not personally. I do not know what your innermost thoughts are on racism. And I am not nasty.

Cam V (417)
Tuesday November 27, 2012, 1:53 pm
Yep, you did and you also said I posted a picture that belonged to someone else when in fact it WAS Lloyd Marcus.

Voting is not about revenge. It should never be about that because revenge is hateful Angelica. There is so much hatred in America right now stirred up in the political arena the only way to fight it is to not be part of it.
