President Obama is still pushing an all-of-the-above energy strategy that prioritizes dirty industries over clean, sustainable energy. Sign the petition urging Obama to tell us his plan to address climate change.

I have signed so many petitions demanding the President do something about climate change; it's getting hard to keep up with them. But yet again, signed. noted.

Let's be glad there were and still are so many out there, Brian! This IS an issue that requires overflooding with petitions and demands! How else would the govt see how damn seriously people are taking it.

signed as I've also signed a whole lot before. the simple fact is that Obama doesn't pay attention or give a whit for the environment. I wish he would stay in DC and lead instead of wasting fossil fuel by campaigning (all he knows how to do) and that has zero effect.

done. unfortunately, while I think Mr. Obama wants to do what is best for the environment......I don't think he really knows how......unless he definitively stops Keystone XL, arctic drilling, etc.....we can't keep stalling and saying we have to bridge until we have cleaner technology, we have cleaner technology --- we need to use them!

...I have my doubts Dave... the prez is no dummy, he surely does know how, IF he wanted to and IF other powers weren't stronger-so he again resorted to nice words and a frack-bridge-csar... Even if you used ALL now available clean energy it would not satisfy the huge demand, yet.. investing in MORE seems blocked, not a priority, sadly.

I listened to the Liberal Party of Canada 3rd leadership debate today from the GTA. There was scant mention of the environment but then with so few minutes for the responses and 8 candidates it was difficult. The Liberals, or at least some of them, are talking co÷peration with the NDP and Greens to defeat Harper and his harlots. If anybody is interested in looking at it or parts of it here is the link:
http://www.liberal.ca/live/?utm_source=20130216im_gtadebate&utm_medium=email

BTW, it is in both French and English and all candidates are fluent in both languages. There are translators.
