Urge the U.S. Government to Seek the Highest Penalties for Oil Spill Possible Under the Law. The government is reportedly considering a deal under which BP would pay $16 billion to settle the civil suit regarding the April 20, 2010, oil spill.

The settlement would cut short the trial that began February 25 and dramatically reduce BPs financial liability for the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history that killed 11 men.

Those evil fat cats. They better pay up. What the hell is wrong with our justice system? Did we elect idiots? I mean really all of them can't be idiots. I bet half of the damn politicians pocketed some of that money to help BP get off cheaper. I hope they enjoy it, because when their time is up..they are going straight down.

Petition to AG Eric Holder

The US Government is reported to be considering offering a deal to BP that would include a huge tax write-off, to the tune of roughly $9 billion.
Sign the petition to tell Attorney General Holder this is unacceptable!
