Please sign the petition below to tell Congress that "centralized interim storage" of radioactive waste--and the accompanying and completely unnecessary risk of a Mobile Chernobyl--is unacceptable. We need a permanent solution, not Fukushima Freeways..

It might be of interest to some that Germany has now BANNED all further transports from French reprocessing facility The Hague to our interim storage place Gorleben. The race for search of a final storage location is ongoing here.

Noted, signed with comment below, twittered and google shared. Thanks Angie!

This has to be the most irresponsible, reckless, and dangerous proposal I have heard yet to date. There is absolutely no way in hell I will stand for this proposal to go thru. What are you people thinking? Seriously?

You cannot currently send a star to Tamara because you have done so within the last day.

IF that goes through prepare yourselves for the same huge demonstrations, protests and arrests that we have been seeing each time of a transport, soo glad they stopped this now and banned them all.

Signed as #3000, I think this needs a few million to get any attention in Congress. These are the same people elected to protect the American public.
