Right after introducing legislation to stop big-money fundraisers, Gov. Cuomo is holding one featuring Paul Simon. Paul is a good guy -- sign petition asking him not to play Cuomo's fundraiser unless the governor actually passes campaign finance reform.

Ironically, the governor introduced a campaign-finance reform bill this week that would make this big-money fundraiser a thing of the past – and make New York a leader in publicly-funded elections. But will he actually fight to pass this bill?

With Albany’s legislative session ending in 1 week, the next few days will determine whether Cuomo is really a reformer or just offering this bill as a fig leaf.
Paul Simon probably didn’t mean to walk right into the middle of a controversial fundraising debate. But he did.

But here’s the thing: Paul Simon's a good guy. And he has the ability to force a good outcome. He just needs his fans to urge him to use his star power to do the right thing.

Signed, but I think if we look at happened to Montana campaign finance reform, we should know this must be done on a national level, state by state it keeps getting shot down.

?
What if Paul Simon wants to do what he wants to do.
What if he wants to go out and leave the whole thing -- and make music on his own -- away from this whole deal -- Paul Simon might be happier and MORE HELPFUL -- because he would inspiration -- away from it all ?
Or he could stay with this political stuff ?
WHAT- EVER Paul Simon thinks is best for him. It is not easy -- being an artist. People give alot and then they may need to get good rest.
