Tobacco giant Philip Morris is suing Australia for billions of dollars in lost profits because the government took action to reduce teenage smoking. Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly is suing Canada for $500 million, just because Canada has laws to keep essential drugs affordable.

Signed and noted thank you Angelika. Australia has just signed a trade deal with Korea to buy cars. Government won't invest in our car industry could be 40,000 jobs lost to Australians in the next two years. All we have left to trade coal, iron ore, gold etc. and land investment. Good one Mr. Abbott.

My main concern and fear is for my own country as the nuclear power industry is suing Germany because it's phasing out its unpopular nuclear power stations.

We need to bring back antitrust and anti-monopoly laws to smash the huge multinational corporations that are hell bent on ending both democracy and national sovereignty. Stand up for #humanrights. #FlushTheTPP

THE LATEST NEWS HERE> Deep divisions over TPP as US pressures to close controversial deal – WikiLeaks

Angelika R. (146)
Monday December 9, 2013, 8:39 am
From article: "“The US is exerting great pressure to close as many issues as possible this week,” reads one of the documents. “One country remarked that up until now there had been no perceivable, substantial movement on the part of the US, and that is the reason for this situation.”

The Obama administration has called on all parties involved in the deal to reach an agreement before the end of the year. However, disputes over key issues may lead to “a partial closure scenario or even a failure in December.”

Thanks to Cruz and the repugs, the labour unions will get the "SHAFT" and America willl have another NAFTA,(only larger.) Just for whom are the REPUGS working. NOT AMERICAN WORKERS!
