$1 trillion to bail out banks and give bonuses to CEOs but no money for health care for our children; why are the Republican't$ stalling on SCHIP?

We didn't have the $1 trillion Bush wanted; we don't have the $1 trillion Obama wants on top of that. Let's face it; there is no money; don't expect help from the government. The money they borrow today will have to be paid back by our children; what a sad legacy for us to leave them.

So many Americans aren't just sitting around while the economy crumbles. They are continuing to build their skills, learn new habits, and find more jobs. Sometimes it just takes better people skills, or self-help support, or just owning a better attitude. A great book I was highly referred to a little while back is "A Dog's Advice to Leaders" by Jo Ellen Roe. The title hooked me because I am a dog lover, but the content was very very useful. It's a lighthearted look at a serious subject. It's also fun, because the leadership/life principles are shown through the eyes of a very special dog, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Miss Brown.

I just saw the Devil and he's smilin' at meYes, GM is gonna take our money and "invest $1 billion in Brazil to avoid the kind of problems the U.S. automaker is facing in its home market." Every single person who made this possible should be put in the stocks and left to the judgment of the American people. In February, in Detroit.

CNBC’s Santelli Calls Struggling American Homeowners “Losers”In what Calculated Risk notes may be the "rant of the year," CNBC's Rick Santelli calls ordinary Americans who face losing their homes to foreclosure "losers" who don't deserve government help. Note the approving cheers from both the traders and the CNBC hosts/commenters.
