How strange it is to find people amazed at the behavior of our ancestors. Similar behaviors, though not so religious, happen every day in our world too.

Mel Gibson't movie on the subject really gave me a taste of these rituals. Really scary and brutal.

Really scary!

This is not any scarier than Hitler’s Holocaust against innocent people, or of the inquisition of the Catholic Church, or the numerous genocides perpetrated upon the innocent different peoples of the world by those who considered themselves to be “culturally superior.” Sadly, humanity has always been very cruel to other peoples when some wanted to get their way. Whether it was the Aztec’s or any other civilization “all cultures and races of the world, have shed innocent blood in one form or another!”

people are vicious, and must decide to transcend this base violent behavior. BAD karma. Compassionate diet changes everything, as does meditation.

Thanks Marty for the update on the new discoveries at this site and the great photos provided in the article. I hope, as they state in the article, this will give us more information regarding the sacrificial rituals practiced by the Aztecs. Read and noted.
