Noted. Thanks so much for posting Marty. I'd read about Skara Brae but not heard of this discovery until this post. It is fascinating and I'm going to the Orkney archaeological site online for more information.

This is certainly a fascinating find.

The headline conclusion (from the Orkney investigators) is more than a little bit too strong. Most stuff from this long ago was destroyed in the interim, or hasn't been found for other reasons.
