Company records for 2008 show that ExxonMobil gave $75,000 (£45,500) to the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) in Dallas, Texas and $50,000 (£30,551) to the Heritage Foundation in Washington.

Both groups have been in existence for far longer than the climate scam has been running.

Considering that Gore is spending $300 MILLION on advertising and public relations for the scam,
what ever Exxon gives away is chump change.

What is amazing to me is that reasonably intelligent people believe that Exxon-Mobil or other energy companies will somehow be hurt by stupid legislation like Cap & Trade. They aren't going to pay the "energy tax". WE ARE.
Want an example? Look what happened to the tobacco companies when the federal tobacco settlement went in effect. Their profits went UP. They just raised the prices to cover the "tax" and raised them a little more for more profit.
Same thing is going to happen with the Cap &Trade bill if, god forbid, it passes the senate. We'll pay through higher energy costs and job losses. C&T is not about climate. It is about the government getting more power by taking more control of our lives and our money.
