In the schoolyard of American politics, President Obama is the big, smart kid with all of the test answers who's being bullied by a bunch of Neanderthal ankle-biters from all sides.

I believe that Obama is just biding his time until these ankle biters have subsided into their own idiotic ways. Thank you, Cal, this is a foregone conclusion but the report is very timely.

Thanks Cal, I needed a laugh! He's only been in a short time, but if he wanted my advice, which I sincerely doubt, I'd say, President Obama, you have an opportunity to do something no President has done in a while. Fess up that Geitner and Emmanuel were mistakes, that you shouldn't have gone after Fox because you should have anticipated that CBS, CNN, et all, would side with them even though they didn't want to (they can't afford a Republican President having the ability to do the same to them in the future, after all), that appointing a Monsanto guy was a mistake, and that doing massive bills is not working. Then announce that you are hosting a big shindig at the White House and invite everybody, Republican and Democrat, to join you. No partisan stuff allowed. Get everybody in the room and tell them that it really doesn't matter what party they are in, or what lobbyist paid them. That the American public elected all of you and there's problems that need fixing. Then, get together a consensus and pass what can be passed based on a little from both sides. Oh, invite Fox to moderate, and make sure every network has camera's there including a few from small town America.

Just my suggestion.

Hmm....let me see - Obama and fellow Democrats promised 'open house' - the public has the right to know what is going on with legislation in Congress.

Sure enough, the Democrats get voted in, and the Stimulus Bill is passed without any public hearings - we only learned what it s really about AFTER it passed.

In case you 're wondering that I am not a man of my word, I ask you to examine my television interview when I was running for Congress, 1st. District, Utah, 2002. I stated on Rod Decker's news-show what i wanted the federal budget on the Internet.

I applaud alternative energy, and transportation - money on solar, wind, buses, Amtrak, electric vehicles - the Democrats, at least some of them, are doing the right thing.

I want Bush and Cheney behind bars where they belong! I want to go after corrupt defense contractors that hurt and kill people and get away with it! If the Democrats won't do it, for heavens sake, find someone who will and vote them in.

It would indeed be gratifying to see Glen Beck lying on his back with a black eye, bloody nose and little stars circling around his head.

I'd settle for Bushco/Cheney in prison or hung for treason.

Just thought I'd jump in to add, as a guy who got bullied heavily until around 10th grade, how does a guy with majorities in both houses get bullied? Other than that, agree with all of you.

Let Songbird do the smacking, we'll just back her up.

The fact is, we have a very slim majority in the Senate, with a number of Democrat's who in the sixties would not be Democrats at all, but Republicans. Obama himself is to my eyes center right, being about as much a Democrat as Nixon was. With Clinton and the birth of the Neo Liberal we saw much of the Dem party sell its soul to win office. His time in office should have taught us and people like Obama that one can never sell out enough to please Conservatives. They will always want more. Even now among themselves they stab each other (eat their own) in the back at any sign of compromise..any sign of being less than purely and absolutely right of right. I am convinced that Obama is both more a pure politician and less committed to change then we were led to believe who is only now realizing just how hostile and deranged his adversaries are. Its hard to believe he didn't know already. He seemed to think they could be shamed by a high rode method. They have no shame. So he is in a pickle and only now showing signs that he sees it. With our only choices being the fire or the frying pan we chose, and won... the right to continue to dance as fast as we can while our leader plays rope a dope and now and then throws a punch. Sadly our best chance as I see it would be to double down in the upcoming elections. Americans have shown me though that this is probably too much to hope for and instead we will kneejerk our way right to hell after a short moment of hope and instead of going left as we should to save ourselves, we will again go ever more right...over the cliff. Have a nice day.

President Obama should shackle the whole bunch of these irritations together by the ankles and let them have a good go at each other...

I just finished watching a great movie entitled "Stalingrad" in German...

It was the last hurray of the Nazi Party, before the fall. It was all based on fear, which generated hatred, which generated wars, non ending...

Those who deny reality are the last to recognize it... Everyone else sees what is going on, but the people who have the most to lose ego wise, often deny reality and make stuff up, in order to appease expectations and assumptions as well as false beliefs, all based on fear... What is fear?

False
Evidence
Appearing
Real

The sooner people can get out of fear mode and into the love mode, the better off we will all be...

It just amazes me how so many of you are still in the Bush/Cheney mode! Do you understand that was almost a year ago and we have a new President?? Just wondering!! Move on people! Look at what is suppose to be our country right now. I don't even recognize it anymore and I suppose it will get a lot worse before it gets better! Yet, many of you are still focusing on Bush/Cheny??? Grow up and move on!!!

Ever notice that when they don't make much sense they add lots of ??? and !!!

In case you haven't noticed we are still living with the problems left us by Bush/Cheney and the latter does not STFU for more than a few days at a time as if he's still in office instead of a disgraced ex and a lying sack of....

True, very hard to "move on" from what is still out there trying to cause problems.
