Genesis of a model response: Located on a Port-au-Prince soccer field, the facility has operating rooms, an intensive care unit, a pediatric ward, and even a pharmacy.

Why is it that no other nation could get effective medical help set up as quickly as Israel did, from half a world away and with nothing to gain in Haiti?

Possibly because they had no axe to grind makes it easier to put constructive acts into operation...when you don't 1st have to contend with opposition & red tape!

Another glowing report for these dedicated professionals who are making this sort of effort into a regular habit, well done.

Born out of necessity the IDF have developed the expertise to enable their rapid deployment for whatever action is required from them. In this case, a highly commendable humanitarian aid mission.

I just hope IDF detractors give credit where it is very much deserved.

A wonderful humanitarian deed. Israel is always ready to set up a hospital at a moment's notice because of their constant wars. To have been there so early on even with the difficulties they experienced getting the first cargo plane on the ground is truly amazing. Kudos to all who are helping this poor country in their time of need.
