Monsanto said it was cooperating with a previously undisclosed US Securities and Exchange Commission probe into its customer incentive programs for herbicides in fiscal years 2009 and 2010, and had received a subpoena to provide related documents.

Did you about the republican plan to cut the SEC's budget by something like $150 Million? I guess they do not want any type of regulation.

Monsanto, BP & countless others make their own rules and buy politicians so there are NEVER any repercussions. We'll seen how this pans out, but...We must repeal corporate personhood and get this country back. "They" won't do what's right unless forced.

Regulations cost money that they want for their corporate buddies and protect normal people. Of course, the repubs don't want that money to go to public employees or protect the health of normal people. No US corporation cares about the people or environment in this country and cares even less about those in other countries. American greed keeps biting us in the ass!!

monsanto are untouchable. They have ploughed enough money into varying regulatory agencies, and to politicians themselves to ever be help up for questioning.
