interesting. India had the best leader Gandhi, and after he died, it seems like the people lost their way and have chosen to pursue material rather than soul growth. This might be a difficult unconscious conflict for the entire country.

There are at least ten million depressed persons in the U.S. In a country with a population as large as India's, one would expect the rate of depression to be far larger.

In Western countries call centres are the hotspots for suicide-India is the hotspot for call centres

Also as Durkheim pointed out anomie is usually encountered where traditional culture is destroyed .India is a country with it's wise culture going too far west
