I WENT TO TAKE OUT MY SAVINGS AT U.S. BANK AND THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME $25.00 CAUSE IT HADN'T BEEN THEIR FOR 180 DAYS YET (IT'S BEEN 150). ANYWAY, THEY STILL HAVE AND ARE USING MY MONEY FOR ANOTHER 30 DAYS. THEY ALSO WANTED $7.00 FOR A CASHIER CHECK. CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF THERE! NOWONDER THEY ARE 6TH BIGGEST BANK INE THE NATION. THE ROBBERS!

Thank-you. Pulled everything out of all of those criminal banks decades ago. Do homework there are a few decent banks and credit unions left.

I got out of Bank of America years ago. They are thieves with their fees. I went over to WaMu, was pretty happy, but it got bought out by Chase. Chase continued with WaMu policies, but recently started slippling in fees, so I canceled the account with them. I've been at a Credit Union and am quite happy with it.

we use a small community bank. we will never use a giant bank gave them up about 20 years ago. as long as obama and his friends at the fed don't keep only helping big banks we should be in great shape. to bad obama only wants giant banks. i guess that's so he can try and make points by saying they abuse their customers. why not dc will give them all they want as long as they say they are going under. to big to fail will gain you points every time.

Penny, we use it cause we don't have choice as much as before. These big banks have bought out other smalller banks (most of the time for ten cents on the dollar......wish I could get a good deal like this).

I just dropped Wells Fargo (who took over Wachovia), cause they started screwing me. I switched to Bank of A and now they are screwing me. But, thanks to republicans, they are not regulated and can do what ever they want. THIS KIND OF STUFF HAS TO STOP, but it won't happen with republvians in charge.

TIME TO KICK THEM OUT.

Obama has created yet another agency-the Consumer Protection Bureau....why? If you don't like your bank's policies, transfer your account. If enough people do, they may change their policy.
For reasons like this I have never banked with large corporations. I have always believed in the savings and loans for my morgage, and banking.

noted. Free choice is disappearing everywhere, including the banks. They love these depressed economic times because they can buy up businesses cheap, or shut down the competition.

Why has Bank of America not been shut down? It is involved in one scandal over another, practically every week. Why does anyone bank there? They are the best at cheating their customers and cheating others out of their homes or anything else they can. The executive committee of BOA should be spending their lives in prison.
