The article states: "Less than a year after being pulled off the Endangered Species Act (ESA), gray wolves (Canis lupus) in the western U.S. are facing an onslaught of hunting."

Just one year off the list, and the trigger-happy hunters are doing their best to get them back on. Disgusting...

all that is necessary for bad deeds to triumph is for good men/woman to do nothing. we see multitudes of our fellow beings struggling but you should know that these are the days of our beginnings our time to stand and be counted to demand that destruction stops and the ignorance is out shined by education. we are change and It's time to open up the shadows of our hearts to the light and withdraw our consent. for as long as you give consent to the little things you shall observe the reflections in the big ones.. we see the world as we are not as it is..
life has value beyond measure
Peace and Love

I left my comment using my YAHOO login. Hunting wolves gives legitimate hunters a really bad name.

Let the wolves live, get rid of the wolf haters instead. Too few intelligent wolves, too many stupid humans. Go with which is more valuable contributor to the earth - Wolves!

We didn't pay all that money in tax dollars to have them shot down in cold blood, for a small group of radical special interests.

This is their definition of management, when we know it is nothing but murder! Montana and Idaho have proclaimed they want wolves gone!!!!!!! AND, do not forget who was responsible for the delisting - Obama and Tester of Montana when they put one rider in the budget bill (that would be the no rider bill) that passed the House and Senate and NObama signed into law! NObama will now be known as the President who made wolves god extinct if this keeps up! Please keep up the boycotts against Montana, Idaho and Wyoming - they treat ALL wildlife horribly.

Idaho just passed a bill allowing the use of live bait, specifically dogs, to lure wolves. They can also use any other animal they want to use. And Montana, they want to pass a bill putting bounties on wolves and mountain lions - even $20 for each wolf pup head and each lion kitten head! Would you want to spend any money in these states? I hope not. Keep away from them. They are despicable! Please contact your elected officials and tell them this must stop - we need legislation and you want them to sponsor and/'or support legislation that will protect wildlife and their offspring!

WHY does Idaho not protect the wolf population. Its a terrible place for wolves to be in this state. Sorry this state treats them so badly. The government doesnt protect them sadly either.

wolves MUST be put on the endangered species list. there are psychos EVERYWHERE just waiting for the chance to murder these exquisite creatures. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO PERISH;THIS WILL SURELY HAPPEN IF THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY PROTECTED AGAINST HUMAN SCUM.
