the clash over Japanese culling has overtones of a clash between Japanese and Western cultures.

oriental countries don't spare the life of anything that moves or lives, that is their stupid tradition, sooner than later all this animals are going to be extinct due to hunting, and not protecting the oceans, or any wildlife, just because they are greedy, start respecting life, and caring for the planet, otherwise what are we going to see reproduce when their is anything else left to enjoy.

DO people realize that the hard earned money sent for disaster relief to Japan in part is used to finance these hunts?????? A major petition could be introduced demanding that they take that money back out of the whaling endeavors

you wanna know an irony? I did a swift web serch; apparenty there was a time when eating 4 legged animals was taboo in Japan.

I saw " the Cove" , It most inhumane, I'm so sad. Those intelligent dolphins slaughters, They are no wrong, but human always destroy their life , and eat their meat ! That's terrible., Please! stop slaughters dolpphins , and respect a life in Japan
