That pink triangle is 70 year old symbol of ignorance, hatred, and pure stupidity. I give the Russian's credit in bringing back this symbol of German intolerance.
I don't know what it will amount to, but the symbol is powerful.

This is very upsetting, and it shouldn't be happening here and now in the year 2012. Thanks for posting!

Homofobia is running rampant among officials in Russia. Very disturbing news.

I see the efforts to discredit Russia are in full swing.
And as usual Cal in the middle of his infantrymen.

Yep, the NWO needs to be promoted - encircling Russia and China as the last still standing bastions for the 0,1% endgame:
Encircling Russia and China....

This reminds of the 50's here in the US. Thanks for the posting Cal.

Calle, Russians like Islamists much less than gays. They did not have Gitmo - they didn't need it.

Interesting posts, especially Thanks to AnneMarie S for telling it like it is

Calle, like the positioning of your avatar, your reality is upside down from the truth more or less as usual. I am pointing out discrimination where I see it no matter where it is.

You are welcome to post articles that have differing viewpoints of course, but i don't recall that you ever do!

It is mental jiu-jitsu to take what was under the Nazis supposed to be a badge of "shame", like the Jewish yellow star was supposed to be also, and to make it into a Badge of Honor, as the author of this article, and others, are doing.

Wearing a Pink Triangle -- THAT'S SHOWING REAL CLASS!!! And especially if it could cause pain and trouble for you and you do it anyway.....

"The “gay propaganda” legislation is reminiscent of fascism in defining sexual minorities as unequal and denying them access to the same set of rights. Emphasizing that societies that prey on their gay communities will very soon prey on other groups, Gessen has called on people to wear pink triangles in protest, harking back to the days when people were sent to Nazi concentration camps on the basis of their sexuality."

Not only were Gays sent to Nazi concentration camps for their sexuality; but the Pink Triangle was sewn onto their prison uniforms to distinguish them from other prisoners. {Jehovah's Witnesses, and others, had different-color triangles also.}
The idea was of course to "divide and conquer", and treat the prisoners in different ways, and encourage prejudices among the prisoners so they would never try to unite and overcome the guards or break out or help each other or show any resistance that would take unity!
Gay prisoners were treated worse than others and the idea was, you didn't want to be identified with them in any way.....

@ Callie...while i have sent you stars in the past, you won't be getting one for this post...
And as far as wanting to be there for the "Awakening of Man", i would suggest you try it out now for yourself, as being so defensive on matters such as this are quite diametrically opposed to that ever happening, much less you being around to see it...Peace out
