The Obama administration wants to clamp down on shale gas drilling on public lands and set standards that proponents of tougher regulation hope will provide a blueprint for drilling oversight nationwide.

"The Obama administration wants to crack down" on fracking? Not just EPA or USFWS or some other agency or individuals within the Obama Administration? But the Big Cheese, the Candidate and Environmental (et al.) Compromiser-in-Chief? The man who is now prepared to give the world Keystone XL? Mr. "We are drilling" and "use all (energy) sources - regardless of carbon footprint or other negative impacts?

Sorry, but I'll believe it when I see it.
