Sounds pretty absurd. And arresting him for something so confusing in 2002. What?

I'll be praying they come to their senses and release him soon, so he can continue with his good work.

This man is a hero. He should have streets named after him. I doubt this is going to be of much consequence, but it's giving more light to the disgusting practices of the shark fin industry. What a shame on Germany for doing this arrest.

This brings to mind that famous old phrase, "No good deed goes unpunished."

There are so few people in the world who are willing to take the risks that he has for the sake of what is right.

By arresting Paul Watson the Costa Ricans have only succeeded in bringing upon themselves the worlds attention to their illegal activities. The act of shark finning is a particularly horrible and unnecessary way of treating these animals.By taking this action the Costa Ricans have brought their shame to the attentionof countless millions of people.I urge them to release Paul before they make even bigger fools of themselves and stop their illegal fishing.

And what about the monsters that he was trying to stop? Apparently Germany (which i thought was the only normal country left) love the torture and death of animals but hate the people who are trying to stop it!
