Second petition signed for the release Mr. Hamid Ghassemi-Shall, but it's very difficult for the international community to tell a government what they will do, right or wrong by our thinking.

Thanks for the opportunity to speak up on this Cal. Human rights are essential for our continued survival, but differing opinions in various nations as to the importance of the individual's rights leads to actions that others find disgraceful. True respectful communication is the only way to achieve a happy consensus.

Already signed, tweeted and shared widely this past weekend.
And to those who have signed it, there were an additional 8 or 9 other people that there are petitions for that desperately need our help, so if you didn't get to them please go back to the site and add your signature on those as well...thanks :-)

Thanks Cal, with difficulty, noted.

I had already signed this petition along with the others also there. I do not have any faith in the Iraninan authorities listening. What usually happens is that the hanging is postponed and the individual hung a few days later when they think the world has stopped watching! You may gather that I have been involved in many such requests! All we can do is try and hope that a government will do something.

Wow, this man was arrested 4 years ago and I'd never heard of this horrible situation he is in. I really feel for his wife
