A former landfill for a Rio de Janeiro slum has been turned into a park thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers.

They turned a landfill into a park here but this sounds so much better. we have a field and a place to walk around and being a landfill it is high and so has nice views as well as being surrounded by trees. this park sounds so natural so satisfying as it was done by the people. I was hoping there would be an view of what it looks like now as it sounds beautiful. Maybe this will make people there more aware of the negative effects of not recycling and the amassing of trash.
Thank you for a nice follow up to the drilling in the Arctic.
