We have a right wing government in Queensland. Whichever government we have, it would be in the pockets of the mining billionaires. The Queensland government is going against the the UN, but also against the 10000 petitions signatures, one of which is mine.
Unfortunately it won't make much difference, as the way they are going, we are on course for 6 degrees Centigrade warming this century. That means, by the end of this century, there may be no one around to feel regret about the destruction of the barrier reef or the destruction of the rest of life on earth.

The Great Barrier Reef already has enough trouble and damage without this!
