Two of the politicians are already denying this as an ethics violation. Makes no dif if they are Democrat or Republican they appear to ooze the same slime. They should be hung!

Same in Ireland ,,Polititions look after their own familys, they take it out of expences and the Ordinary Student is looking
at higher fees which the Govenment swore they woulden't touch Education fees.

Yet NOTHING is done to punish the parties involved.
This is our last chance America.
Reps & Dems must find their common ground, the U.S. Constitution, and unite to defend that.
Soon anyone who even points out corruption will be jailed.
Think hard America, can you find enough in common to defend the Constitution?
We have to fight even SCOTUS.
No political group, executive branch nor Congress really cares what the people want anymore.
They have their own agenda, world domonation and slavery for the masses.
This story is actually years old (sorry Cal) and nothing has been or will be done unless the people demand it.
Seemingly the people do not want their rights, they are not stepping up in the necessary numbers.
Voting will not help, which Fascist puppet you prefer matters not to your destiny.
Republican and Democrat Parties should be banished for their lack of integrity.
They do not stand for America, freedom, justice nor the Constitutional rights of U.S. citizens.
They are too busy defining their new rights to beat, jail and kill American citizens without fear of legal prosecution. Why do you suppose Habeas Corpus is STILL suspended and the Pentagon is about to spend millions on updating Guantanamo instead of closing it as Obama promised?
Actions speak louder than words, stop listening to the lies.
Judge politicians by their actions... but do not neglect their judgement.
They must be prosecuted and punished, otherwise they will not stop.
Shame on American lawyers for their participation in this abomination of laws.

This is disgusting but hardly unexpected.

Noted. Thanks for posting, Cal. John Cause is 100% correct...there were articles regarding both Dodd and Frank getting these "sweetheart deals" back when the "Finance Reform bill" was being written by Congress. The media coverage was sparse and quickly forgotten, I guess. Both parties are "compromised" and beholden to Corporate & Wall St. entities for their campaign coffers....the game's rigged--against us in the 99%. I've sent e.mails, letters, made phone calls...to my members of Congress ad nauseum for many years, but they all seem deaf to their constituents unless we're big donors. Now that the LIBOR mess is stinking up the media, I once again hope, maybe, there will be some "perp walks," restitution and new laws. Silly me!

Obviously many politicians have no conscience but love money more than their constituents. So accepting bribes is perfectly OK? - A little transparency in government might just expose these charlatans long enough to have them thrown into prison where they belong - Surely 'democracy' is not based on money for favours? (Although it is rapidly going that way)

The so called 'people' running this country do not give two hoots for anyone except themselves. It does not matter what we the people want or need, it is all about the assinine idgits that run this country. I wonder how they will feel after they have destroyed everything and come to us for help---hahaha---what a rude awakening they are in for.

Why do we, the people, so often get it wrong when we elect 'leaders' that do not work for us, but only for their own personal quest for power and financial gain? - And why do we not have the option to sack them mid-term if they prove to be useless? - After all, we employ them but have no power to sack them? - This is 'democracy?
