The coal and gas development should be stopped. The world needs to move to appropriate renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation. We humans should restrain our numbers and demands on nature.

I had the good fortune to spend a week diving / snorkeling on the great barrier reef, first in 1989 and again in 1991, one of the highlights of my life the experience is amazing swimming with fish of all sizes and the colours of the reef, I will never be able to do it again but this must be protected at all costs for future generations and the environment - it really is a magnificent wonder of the world.
