The ad reflects clear political pressure President Obama is feeling in swing states like Ohio.

Politicians must pander to corporations. These ads are disgusting, and will alienate many supporters of Obama. Signed. Thanks, Cal.

From the day he became President, Obama has swayed on supporting any kind of clean energy. We know the one thing he supports is oil production, and what Shell has contributed to his campaign.
If Ohio was in favor of hamsters running on a tread mill to generate electricity, Obama would be for it - he will say anything to get Ohio's electorate votes.

Signed. Thanks, Cal. Looks like it's time for me to logon to the White House website and post a letter to the man my whole family voted for 4 yrs. ago. We are not a happy bunch, and he needs to know that. Just read that the DoJ is done pursuing criminal charges. So, along with this, that's the cherry on the icing for me.

Reached 92% of their Third New Goal of 75,000.

Oh, Gawd, again "Politics makes strange bedfellows".

'The real story is that, while President Obama has a mixed record on coal, he's done some very good things -- things Mitt Romney would reverse on day one. Even though the Obama campaign ad criticizes Romney for saying that coal pollution kills people, President Obama's EPA has implemented the long-overdue Clean Air Act update to limit, for the first time, toxic mercury pollution from coal plants. Italso introduced the Carbon Standard, which while it does little to fundamentally reduce pollution, is a vital recognition of the need to cut off polluters' ability to freely dump climate-heating carbon pollution in our atmosphere.

President Obama's have-it-both-ways, "all-of-the-above" rhetoric threatens not just to undermine these policies and others that support clean energy, but to undermine the progressive support for his candidacy that helped usher him into office in 2008.'

Once RID of the teabagger, bigot, racist, MISOGYNIST, HOMOPHOBIC menace of the Repukelicans; we can PRESSURE PRESIDENT OBAMA TO BE MORE THE KIND OF PRESIDENT WE WANT HIM TO BE. The kind of President we see flashes of now and then {but welcome flashes!}. We can PUSH him.
[A Vote for Independent candidates is a vote for Romney. Don't go there! that would be the WORST outcome......]

Lois Jordan: Just gave you a Green Star for your post.
I, too, will post on the whitehouse website in the very near future. {Like within the hour.}

We can ALL do this; and it's EASY.
Go to:

MASSIVE protests and mailings WORK; that's how we got President Obama to support Marriage Equality!
So don't get all cynical and lazy.......

Best cure? Set up a coal fired iron smithy right outside the Whitehouse and make Borkup Obummer and family breathe the smoke...
