Why did they not get a warrant? Probably not enough evidence. In that case, this surveillance is not waeeanted or legal, even if it was ordered by a judge.

This GOP mindset and grip on our country is blatantly Partisan and divisive. they are setting up for a coup in November. Yelling 'Voter Fraud," they are disenfranchising voters in sates that previously voted Democrat in 2008. since 2000, there have been 10, (that's right:TEN) cases of voter fraud across the United States. I don't count on privacy now, or have i for a long time...a sad commentary to be sure.

My partner constantly jokes that "when they come knocking at the door to get you..i don't know you".
I already know he's NOT joking, but with the unholy birth of the NDAA, nothing about this whole mess surprises me... Thanks cal

I don't have a cell phone. Maybe they are listening on my land line? Or my contraption with two tin cans and a string? can they read my lips? Maybe we will all have to resort to wearing hats of aluminum so they can't read our minds?
So reassuring, we may be forgotten, but never lost. You'd think they'd have better things to do, like look for missing children (who ARE or COULD be our future).

If the GOVT of We the People did nothing....like they did prior to 911....people would be outraged if something that bad happened again. So folks---you can't have your cake and eat it too....either we have this kind of security for a different kind of enemy than that of WW2.....or we live in fear that our enemy will not be discovered before it's too late.

Janice, do some research. 9/11 was an inside job not an act of terrorism. The official story just doesn't hold water. It was done for the very reason that our government wanted to do the things they were doing and wanted non-thinking, non-questioning goobers to let them.

Gloria, by the way, yes they can read lips, they've been doing that with Mob guys for decades. Yes they listen to your land line, they've been doing that for decades as well. They can fly over your house and actually see people in fairly accurate detail inside the house using infrared technology. They can do all of this and get away with it. Cops can shoot you and get away with it using the phrase "was in fear for my life" or "I thought he had a weapon" or "he/she made a threatening gesture" all of which will get them off scott free.
