In Indonesia, 7,000 square miles of forest is destroyed each year for palm oil production. This is a rain-forest area the size of Atlanta deforested every single week! If companies like Nabisco continue to use palm oil in their products, the need for defo

Thanks, Cal.

When I came home from Borneo, I was determined to boycott palm oil. It's in EVERYTHING...and it's often "hidden" as "vegetable oil," for example, so you can't identify it.

INFURIATING!

signed and noted. Unfortunately palm oil is used in many of today's foods and not just by Nabisco. If we are to eliminate our use of palm oil we must read the labeling of the products we purchase.

l ove these creatures and l can't imagine losing them from our planet, and all for the sake of cheap palm oil! Which isn't cheap at all of course, because it is costing us vital forests and an incredible animal that is so gentle and so beautiful, losing them would be a terrible loss for us all.

For every action there is a reaction. According to the law of karma, if we cause

pain and suffering to other living beings, we must endure pain and suffering in

return, both individually and collectively. We reap what we sow, in this life and

the next, for nature has her own justice. No one can escape the law of karma.

Signed with the following comment.
"My wife is Malaysian. I saw huge areas of rainforest being cleared in Malaysia, the monsoon washed the topsoil away before oil palms could be planted. Pre independence Malaya was no different, the British cleared for rubber plantations. Malaysia has no significant wild life left. The only orang utans left are in Borneo and possibly Sumatra and Java. I hope we can save them."

I didn't know that palm oil was in Oreo's, I wont buy them any more.

There you go Nabisco, you have lost a customer here, so do the right thing, stop using palm oil and you will stop losing customers.
