After filing the first-ever class-action lawsuit on the issue of gender segregation in Israel, a local religious women's rights group says it hopes to protect the rights of women in the public sphere of Israeli society.

It's about time. When you're discussing the rights of women among the ultra-orthodox, opinions will have a huge range.

I wish the women success in putting the orthodox in their place. Gender discrimination should never be allowed and the women are right to kick them where it hurts.

If they are allowed to go unchecked they will be putting women in Berkas and beating them to keep them in their place.

With very few exceptions, all religions are paternal institutions, that treat women as second-class citizens.
AIN'T information wonderful? TV and the internet are responsible for teaching and informing.
Thand goodness, the days of keeping female persons bare-foot and pregnant are on the way out.
