As we have seen, Romney is Obama's best weapon! A despot, and thug, and elitist, and now being connectged to the anti-Muslim tape that cause the Middle East mess! I hope he and his party rot in hell where they belong!

My favorite lines from this article were:"When Obama speaks, at least some of the time, you actually sense that he takes ownership of what he is saying. It's not just acting." The implication being that Obama does not always speak the truth. As far as acting, all people in politics are actors.
We have a Muslim president telling us how great America is, while electing to do nothing for this country.
P.S. I also enjoyed the statement that Eastwood stole the show, considering the bad press he got on his performance.

Allan, Obama is not a Muslim and you know it. You are much too intelligent to believe that right wing crap.

I've heard Romney say he's going to keep some of the health plan but he won't say which parts - I've heard him say he's not changing all of Medicare but not what he is changing - I've heard him criticize and pick at Obama but I seldom hear him say what he'll do that will be helpful to anybody but himself. I've seen people here call Obama a Muslim when they know that's not so - so I see little reason to listen to any of the GOP

Allan is a nut job and very poorly informed! Of course Obama is not a Muslim - this whole mess is one that is being pushed by Romney and his campaign. I am posting another piece of evidence that the Muslim hatred of the Repukes and Romney/Ryan in particular is what is causing this mess! The evil twins will soon be gone and people like you, Allan, cannot stand it! And no, he is NOT intelligent enough to know it!

Pamela Geller's Blog Solicited Funds For anti-Muhammad Film

Yesterday, while compiling evidence for a report demonstrating conclusively that the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Media For Christ was the most significant force behind the production of the anti-Islamic trailer video "Innocence of the Muslims" which, after being posted on Youtube, has helped incite riots throughout the Islamic world, I came upon the following February 12, 2012 post, on the website of Atlas Shrugs -- the blog of Pamela Geller, the anti-Islamic activist who cofounded the group Stop Islamization of Nations and helped incite and organize the nationally-notorious June 6, 2010 protest against the building of a mosque in lower Manhattan (one of the speakers at the protest was Joseph Nassralla Abdelmasih, head of Media For Christ.)

not to mention 2 American Marines in Afghanistan,
not to mention policemen who died trying to protect various Embassies,
not to mention rioting citizens killed by police,
not to mention property damage to Embassies {including other than American},
and SCHOOLS --

Hope it should BACKFIRE BIG TIME.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We have a Muslim president telling us how great America is, while electing to do nothing for this country. "

If that was true, what is the problem with it Allan? Did you forget the first Amendment to the Constitution?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

or how about this

"Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, written in 1779 by Thomas Jefferson, proclaimed:

"[N]o man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities."

This shows how far everyone has gone to the right, including Democrats. We have all been dragged along by the hysterical of every radicalized Islamic terrorist behind every bush even THOUGH IT HAS BEEN DISPROVEN and there is much more to worry about than just radicalized Islamists.

To suggest that someone's religion (where in Obama's case happens NOT to be Muslim) in a derogatory manner is bigoted. It shouldn't matter nor concern what his religion is as long as it does not enter the governance of the Nation. In addition, considering Obama has given and done more for Israel than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT, it is ludicrous that he won't go far enough as Allan wants which seems to be rid the West Bank and maybe Gaza too of its indigenous population. Let's move out people who have lived there for centuries to have people who left almost two thousand years ago. Allan obviously wants to reclaim his plot of land that his great great grandmother X 10,000 removed lived on and move out forcibly a family who in some cases have lived for 900 years.

The founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they say what was going on here. In addition, of those who are faithful, this inflammatory rhetoric certainly would not be the road to reach those pearly gates.

should have read "shouldn't matter to anyone nor concern us what his religion is" instead of "It shouldn't matter nor concern what his religion is". Sorry

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Steven Rosenfeld. I think most of us already knew Mitty and his campaign was in trouble. Can you imagine what a Romney/Ryan administration would function like. Read and noted.

Wonderful. Good news, I read what Mother Jones presented. It was on Yahoo news. I have now decided I must vote a straight democrat ticket if I am to keep "what's mine" which is a small Social Security check that I earned!

I have not read the article yet, but wanted to say that I am offended seeing Romney with the American flag as his back drop, and not just one, but at least two. I wasn't expecting such a strong reaction from myself as I am a Canadian living in Canada. His pathway to the WH must be closed down permanently.

Get out the Vote!!!!!

Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

Allan: "P.S. I also enjoyed the statement that Eastwood stole the show, considering the bad press he got on his performance."

You don't have to get "good" press in order to steal the show --just the majority of it. And Clint did just that!

Romney and Obama are basically tied in the polls depending on which polls you read. It's a very close race which means that the country is divided.

I'm waiting for the debates with Obama off teleprompter and Joe Biden debating Paul Ryan.

Clint Eastwood?! hahahahaaahhaaaaa, what a senile fool, he scored another one for Obama!! I think he is actually a democrat, because everything he said made the case against Romney that much stronger. It is basically a fact that Romney is only supported by the ones with mega-bucks and the senile.

@ Diane O --- I guess you didn't hear what Santorum said about the GOP and its followers --- Rick Santorum: Conservatives Will Never Have "Smart People On Our Side".

Romney's own ineptness and comments that confirm it, are his worst enemy. And anyone hanging on his every word, everyone that he manages to lead down the garden path, is IMHO, a shame.

Just a refresher. This was printed on Yahoo News, todays.

COSTA MESA, Calif.ŚMitt Romney stood by his comments captured on a hidden camera at a closed-door fundraiser earlier this year in which he called supporters of President Barack Obama "victims" and said they are reliant on government handouts.

In a hastily arranged news conference Monday night, he called his words "off the cuff" and "not elegantly stated," but given several opportunities to back off the comments, he did not.

Romney said he was merely talking about the "political process of drawing people into my own campaign." He described the incident as a "snippet of a question and answer session" and called on the full video to be released to show the question and his response in its full context.

Asked if he was worried that he had offended the 47 percent of people he mentioned in the statement, Romney did not back off his remarks.

"It's not elegantly stated, let me put it that way," Romney said. "I'm speaking off the cuff in response to a question, and I'm sure I can state it more clearly in a more effective way than I did in a setting like that and so I'm sure I'll point that out as time goes on."

But, he added, "It's a message which I am going to carry and continue to carry."

Note his pleas for time to review, revise and not revoke. This one's a little hard to explain away considering that the 47% also have families and friends who can't support them but who care deeply. Let's see 47% plus additions adds up to DE FEET!

Any mistakes I made in this posting can be explained if you just give me time....time....time to consult with the fibbers more expert than me. ROLOL

What a farce. The Dummycrats present a pair of traitors, the Repulsivans present a stumblebum and a theocrat Mormon. Voting Libertarian is looking more and more attractive! But that illegal alien Obama and his traitor sidekick Biden have got to go out on their ears!

Didn't we see this sort of thing happen to another republican candidate about 4 years ago? Only this time it is the candidate that is the cause of the problem rather than the VP candidate....not that the VP candidate in this race isn't worse, but neither the candidate nor his VP choice are helping their campaign.

GOP Denial - Your hero called 47% of the population losers, bragged about slave labour in China, wished he was born a Latino. Have any of you bothered to look up the Romney tax solutions on individuals? Do any of you know anything about it? Instead, you would rather go on about how he is going to fix the economy, but I really doubt that any of you have bothered to read the GOP Platform or looked at Mitt's Tax Plan in Depth.

Nan - I think that you already have been in the Tequila and eaten the worm. Either that or you have been bathing in GIN.

It appears that some people who commented on this thread don't mind being referred to as parasites, bloodsuckers, slugs, losers, bums, burdens on society, leeches and just plain lazy, because that's how their hero, Mitt, described 47% of our citizens. The demographics represented in that 47% figure include Republicans and Democrats, retirees, veterans, and is representative of all races. EVERYONE pays taxes in some shape or form, such as payroll taxes, retirement taxes, school taxes, property tax, sale tax, tolls, etc. But many hard-working people earn so little money and/or have enough tax deductions that they actually qualify for a refund at tax time.

Please don't confuse not paying taxes with not owing taxes!

Susanne R (234)

Robert K (31)
Monday September 24, 2012, 12:10 pm
The 47% actually pay higher taxes than Mittens does, and the heaviest numbers of that 47 % live in red states, another piece of evidence that he is a very stupid person who probably got through school the same way Bush did, family contributions to the school which make it impossible for the professors to fail them. Bush's economics professor said the was the dumbest student he ever had but was required to pass him with decent grades. I'm thinking Mittens had the same deal.

Robert K (31)
Monday September 24, 2012, 12:14 pm
Nan, better not be drinking that crap near Romney with all his "pants on fire" lies, you might be charged with the attempted murder of a presidential candidate. The man hasn't told a verifiable truth in years.
