I don't have time now to read as much of his as I want to.. It is such an intersting and important issue that iIam going to come back at another time to read more. I have noted this and tried to sign the Endangered Species Act.. But although I wrote a comment, I was unable to sign it. When I get back to this article, I wil try again. If we don't take time to save as many species as we can NOW, it is just going to be too late, as species are disappearing at an alarming rate!

we know far too little about species interaction to risk the loss of ANY more species, well-known or obscure, "sexy" or nondescript. it is not about preserving individual species, but entire systems, or the effort is doomed.
