Violent land grabs in Ethiopia's Lower Omo Valley are displacing tribes and preventing them from cultivating their land, leaving thousands of people hungry and 'waiting to die'.

Ehtiopia will break your heart! These people live under the sway of violent, corrupt WAR LORDS who, without any regard for anyone other than themselves, murder, steal, torture and kidnap...all to fatten their own purses!

Land-grabbing, outright extortion, tribal conflicts, lack of education, superstition and environmental disaster mean the average Ethiopian is always at the end of the financial scale.

If you ever go there....prepare to weep...A LOT!

At least most of the Ethiopian Jews were brought to Israel where they live in their own communities and are doing fine. Learning and advancing.

Have signed this petition. It makes us so very angry that these people are suffering needlessly - all because of those two arms of the Devil - Greed and Corruption. We have land grabs of a different kind here in Australia - our Government grabs the land(paying farmers a pittance) and brings the Chinese conglomerates - among others - in to mine the minerals. There is already a food shortage in the world and it will get worse in the not-too-distant future - Australia has land enough to feed millions.........we are soon to find we can't eat mined minerals.
