Noted. All I can say is that I hope, in the end, HSBC is heavily fined and prosecuted.

Only blood in their wine glasses.
Only pain and chemicals on their tables.
Only money robbed from the poor
keeps the blood lust going.

Very distressful! The trees have been cut down,Orang-utans, monkeys and wildlife killed and/or orphaned have lost their natural habitats forever,
all because of GREED!!!
Somehow JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL !!!!!

I worked for HSBC Canada for 9 years (but was restructured out 4 years ago). While I was there, HSBC funded some environmental work and projects in various places around the world which staff participated in (I knew someone who went to Brazil and worked along the coast with Dolphins etc). But there have definitely been changes at HSBC since then and it is no longer the same bank I worked at. Recently, there were issues of money laundering and compliance violations that precipitated the resignation of the Senior Compliance Manager from his position and his movement into another position. With branches in 73 countries, making changes through boycotts will be very difficult. And they are always looking for the Premier client, the wealthy and the "jet setter".

This disgusts me but it does not surprise me. Employees at the local levels are required to sign annual certificates regarding anti money laundering, ethics etc but obviously this no longer the case or only some people have to. Look at the antics of Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and others. It is all about greed!

Another bad decision by HSBC. This week they are paying compensation to millions after a venture. The money they play with belongs to ordinary people - risky!

his is literally sickening! All those trees gone, the animals killed, injured and/or left alone, their home gone!!
What in the hell is this bank thinking--yes, it's good to have money, but we can't breathe money, the animals can't live in money (yes I know, the bank cares nothing for the animals). Why do these people not see that they are killing every living thing on the planet--including themselves? Do they plan to spend their money in hell? Well, I for one hope they go there soon!!
Thanks for the post Cal--will share on fb.
