We have to take the power to make land use decisions OUT of the hands of a few people--meaning a few people on the Board of Supervisors. They have incredible power. Turning decisions like this over to 5-9 people when they project will effect the entire community and for years to come is just NOT democracy. All developments over a certain size should be forced to be decided on by the VOTERS in a community and not left in the hands of a few possibly corrupt people. Land use decisions in California are NOT made through a democratic process at all. This must change. You can start in your own community. Demand Direct Democracy with Land Use Decisions in California!!!

I was reading that some special interest scientists want to define our geological era as Anthrpocene...putting the benefit of humans first ahead of wilderness and wildlife. Sounds more like Anthro-obscene. Heinous and moronic to think that humans don't need nature and a life-sustaining environment. I wouldn't want to live on such a heinously sterile planet. We wouldn't last for long on it anyway. Really it's the benefit of corporations only.

From GMOs to dwindling wilderness, we are robbing future generations of their birthright to know their natural world. It's selfish and abhorrent. These people's grandkids should smack these fools upside their empty heads.

Noted Cal and tried to sign. System Not Responding. No where in the World should strip mining and hot asphault be allowed. We've destroyed too much planet in the name of Man. (oh, should that be in the name of a god?)
