just watched 60 minutes last night about the situation in Belle Harbor.
Sending prayers to all who are without power/heat. God Bless them.

We need to reduce our climate changing emissions. Use less oil ... go car-free if you can. ...

There needs to be built some kind of barrier like they have in other countries to deal with storm surges. Bloomberg and the city was warned of a storm surge all the way back in 2009. He did nothing because he said it was too expensive ($10 billion) and it wouldn't help anyway. Look what standing by, and doing nothing have done.
